well i bought crysis special edition and i got some multiplayer truck that does not exist rofl .

now if this edition will have some supreme multi player then i might be interested if it the same as the crysis it self i will download it finish it one time and will delete it

You don't not have a automatic right to good multi player when the games main focus is its single player & then complain & say pirate it.

What of games that don't have any multilayer at all...pirate the lot?

So then they should not bother adding multiplayer at all because if its not better than the main game that will be the excuse to pirate it which is no logic at all & you should buy only multiplayer focused games in the first place if that's what important to you.

Its seems that every pirate have got there excuse.

Bad Multiplayer.

DVD Box is too big....ect basicaly find anything that could be seen as a negative in an imperfect world & blame that for justifying pirating it.

About time we got to see that actual nuclear explosion we saw in the awesome video running up to Crysis.

you can see it in the crysis tools where you can edit the levels. You can add a tank that shoots nukes. its awesome.

@ all, Psycho is the main character, and its voiced by Jason Statham.

I pirate stuff because I'd rather get stuff for free when possible, I pay for multiplayer games that's about it, oh and Valve games as they are pretty much the only decent PC developer left.

Don't see the point in justifying it, don't really care what people think.

Thats fine, I hope you get caught out and taken to court.

You can't justify stealing, thief.

I paid something like £30 or £35 for my collectors edition of crysis and while i was very let down by the game after the hype I feel it didnt deserve a lot of the slating that goes on, from a technical and artistic standpoint it is still an amazing feat in realtime graphics application and I would never consider pirating such a game and there are no excuses for pirates.

Im in two minds as to weither to buy this new addition as I think it will pretty much the same game over.

Wait a couple of months then :) Get it second hand or something..That's if you can wait!

I played Crysis on and off over the course of a couple of months but I did enjoy it very much when I played it so I am quite looking forward to the expansion :)

Yeah seen pre-order for this for 17.99  thought for the price it must be an expansion pack but it's a standalone. Should that be an indication of its quality hmmm...

As far as I understand the storyline is parallel to the original crysis so we still won't get to see what happened after the nukes.

Why do people moan when thing's are cheap? I don't mean to dig or anything, but if it cost £30, everyone would be like "OMGZ!1 it's £30! F0r an Add0n!! What a jip ooh".

I welcome the price point, it's nice to see PC games cheap again, I love the fact I can get a decent game for £30, rather than £45 for a console counterpart. But I shant go into that.

I can't wait, it should be awesome :)

I've just seen it for £14.99 on pre-order  I'm actually quite tempted to press the big orange buy button and pre-order it already :D

I'm just hoping that it is going to be as highly optimized as initially rumoured as that was the only thing that put me off the original. The demo of crysis ran quite well on medium at 1280*1024 on my 7900gs but could have been better. i guess i should really upgrade my graphics card anyway....

Hehe, that would be why your card struggled matey :)

A cheap 8800GT would have been a nice bump...They're coming down in price now, or the 8800GTS 512 ones.

Yeah i've been looking at the 8800gt as it is unbelievably cheap here BUT i've also been very tempted by the 9800gt.... Yes i know its the essentially the same as the 8800gt BUT since my motherboard supports hybrid power i'm quite tempted to go for the 9800gt just so i can try it out :D

Yeah right. Its only cos you can't pirate valve games. If you could then Im sure a stealing scab like you would.

the guys at crytek have spent years creating a game that makes all others look like tetris on the original gameboy. Its good for the industry it pushes hardware manufactures to make faster components and for consumers to upgrade.

That's good for the industry and consumers is it? By saying that you're validating Windows Vista, which is stupid; you're saying that companies shouldn't bother to create efficient code and should just sling bloated and unnecessarily demanding stuff out there because customers should upgrade. Microsoft has had a major backlash against that kind of behaviour, and whether Crysis is coded poorly or just at the bleeding edge of technology, it doesn't excuse Crytek of forgetting about people with lower end systems.

The forthcoming STALKER: Clear Sky can use DX8-DX10, and look at the Unreal 3 Engine - looks very pretty, and runs extremely well, even on the Xbox 360. That's an example of developers thinking of their consumers and creating a product that is efficient and well designed.
