Started playing again recently, Master Guardian II at the moment. Need to spend some hours in deathmatch servers to get my aim back though.
 
Not sure deathmatch really works as well because its all so random, where as 5 people is precision and you can work out when to go, when to fire almost. But your way higher rank then me so whatever

I lost 3 games, got demoted. Fair enough. Strange though, I won 1 and tied the next (we had won but team decided not to bother and lose next 6 rounds lol) & got promoted right back.

Seems a bit quick to regain a rank. I got a 3 kill streak and pheonix badge/coin went upto silver, so maybe kill streaks do matter
 
Deathmatch is a great way to practice aiming, it doesn't matter about anything else it just lets you practice quickly aiming people down.

What rank are you? The lower ranks are pretty easy to quickly go up and down them.
 
Yea but 1 match won is surprising. Im on the border between silver and nova but im playing maps for the first time in competetive as well, not that i get any better but thats my excuse.
Really not a fan of motel with its chairs welded to the floor, etc I actually liked css physics :o

Just switching back from p2000 to USP as I think it might be easier to get hs with.
 
I was so close to being promoted to MGII (I think) but bad team mates made me lose 4 games in a row (I was top 2 each game). Played the next game, and I won, but lost the one after that. **** sake!

USP-S needs to be treated as a sniper rifle. Go for 1 hit headshots. Dont spam it or you will get absolutely nothing out of it. You can spam the glock though.

The USP-S is superior to the P2k I think because it has a tighter spread, no tracers, and a bunch of more advantages. That is if you can deal with the low clip size.
 
so close now to legendary eagle... we beat 3 teams last night who were master legendary eagle.. then lost 1 to some 150 pinging arabs who just wouldnt die.. so annoying..

hopefully get it tonight!

Almost won office but one of the pads on my mouse has decided to fall off, giving me variable resistance and turning my already dodgy aim into complete mush
 
If you are between Gold Nova 2 and Distinguished Master Guardian, feel free to add me. I am bored of solo queuing, then coming against a team all on skype/ts/with comms and absolutely stomping us.

My irl friends are all silvers, and they don't like playing with me because they get paired against Master Guardians (my rank) and thus they do terrible, which is understandable. Hopefully, we can get a group of 2/3/4/5 going :)
 
only silver elite at the moment but constantly topping the boards and winning so hopefully get up the ranks soon, I just find it too fun to counter charge with the mac-10/mp9 which isn't helping my stats :D

You change the HUD to this

You can also change the stuff where you like, so if you want the HUD bottom right, you can change the X/Y co-ordinates.

It can be used in the matchmaking, i.e. it won't be caught by Valve's VAC stuff. Its perfectly legal.

I have also started using a program that boosts your saturation, so I can see players better in darker areas. On Nvidia, its called digital vibrance. On AMD its just contract. The program basically boosts your vibrance when you press a hotkey. It works only for AMD cards. You have to do it manually on Nvidia. I thought valve disabled HUDs ? :confused:

Was talk of them maybe doing what they do on dota2 with their own custom / themed huds

Are you really allowed to change all the HUD like that? I love that minimalist look but don't want to get banned just got DMG rank.
