CS:GO Discussion

 They say it is likely a prank, not a very funny prank at al. i wouldn't have told them i was streaming, i would want it all on camera and recorded as you always hear about these things going south.
It happens so much, not only on CS:GO.

That was 2012
Got the most epic glock skin last night, stattrak water elemental MW but looks FN

Also sorry JS, games were always at different times last night, so kept missing eachother.
:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

Got this in a drop, round when skins first came out. Think back then it market price was 50p now it dont drop anymore its price as jumped up big time. :D
£90+ some even £100+

Edit
Do I try and sell, one sold today for £100 lol and then buy £100 worth keys or do I just try and trade for something else.

You could trade that glock for 200+ keys on csgolounge.

I would love a M4 Asiimov and AK Vulcan.

Also love the M4A1-S Masterpiece. So expensive though and I never seem to have much luck when unboxing :(

It isn't the sort of game that relies on iron sights (uses a crosshair) or graphical realism of any sort, CS is and always has been a team-based game reliant heavily on co-operation, tactics and skill.

I found Titanfall just eye-candy, low-skill and a total yawnfest and not fun at all, but each to their own i suppose.

No offense, but are you new to the CS scene? CS:Go is not about the iron sights, kill streaks etc. It is raw gun on gun skill, with no health regen. It is different to many main stream games.

It takes getting used to. Coming from a CoD background, I found this game very very very basic (like you) but when you learn the ins and outs of it (money situation, gun recoil pattern, map knowledge etc/) you see that it is great in its own unique way. It has a steeper learning curve than many other FPSes. I would tell you to give it another go, maybe even with some people explaining stuff to you while you play. It can be very fun and very addictive.

I will put my hands up and admit I am super casual gamer these days.
Not new to counterstrike, I played 1.6 a little bit back in the day and Source a lot more but I was never in love with source. I much preferred 1942, Vietnam and then BF2.

Having not played source for years and years I could not believe what I saw when I loaded up GO. If I never knew better, I would have thought it was Source.

I still remember nearly 10 years ago when the BF2 Special forces expansion pack was released and I had grapple hooks and zip lines. Playing that with my mates was really fun and felt like innovation, adding new game play mechanics.

Surely Go could have added out of the box or even just new gameplay mechanics whilst keeping your basics of "money situation, gun recoil pattern, map knowledge".

Like I said it felt stale. Being a casual, if I felt planning CS I should have just saved myself a fiver and just loaded up source.

Do you even read? CSGO is a competetive team based shooter experience.
There is nothing to touch it, for a test of skill and tactics.

You saying it is stale is like saying the game Tennis is stale.

Come on HR.

I didnt buy till this year for that point really. Just a bit too gamey and it is quite similar to CSS but the point missed is they have made quite a few bug fixes.
It all adds up, I do think the hitboxes work now where as before it was a bit of an inside secret how all the various glitches worked.

I played beta in 2000 and every version then on and I played 1.6 I think it was in a competetive ladder. We werent much good but it was a set game and the current Matchmaking is superior I think, overall the game is a lot more accessible.

Again 'saved myself a fiver' is missing the point. Csgo is basically free in my experience, just selling off the bonus round dropped gear I had enough to buy xcom complete pack which cost more then I paid for csgo in the first place

. I think its all well done, its still the source engine but with a lot of polish.
If you wanted to play competitive games, its definitely superior. Just casual games you have some point I guess but the no big changes is deliberate

Surely Go could have added out of the box or even just new gameplay mechanics
With source beta you could barricade a room by pushing a table across the door. The physics was done properly, I really liked that extra factor to a game.
Send a barrel rolling down the corridor and it might trip up someone rushing a corner. The guys in competitive didnt want that interference though.

Go back to the original doom and they promised in future you could blow up or at least damage the walls and scenery. I always wanted that feature or similar, now we got an occasional door, flowerpots + chickens not even exploding barrels, truly backwards :p

I much preferred 1942
The best version of BF ever was Bad company 1. My reason is you could alter the terrain, so if I want to put a tank in a hull down position then I could and thats a real tactic used since ww2. Now they taken that out afaik, cs is about comp end of story

Got a Field Tested Cyrex M4A1-S in a case xD
40 quids worth, you should stream donated case openings

I went up to GN2 now. In a game where I did only 7 kills, its fairly clear to me KDR is a very minor part of ELO. Maybe it just counts if you are alive on a round win

Back after a month holiday!

Just getting use to the old Mouse again and should be back to compet mode in a few hours!

Anyone up for MM at all let me know!

Me and my golden Dorito are up for a few games.

Andy Anderson!

( don't add andy Anderson, he is to pro to play with commoners like us!)
