CS:GO Discussion

I tend to play well inferno and nuke. Prefer them to grinding d2 every game.

Played a good few games today so hopefully I'll be back to nova again soon.

I know rank.isn't everything but it really winds me up seeing players who I have specced who are crap with a much higher rank.

Especially when I get to nova and get matched with a team of dribblers.

Try Cache or Mirage, these are the maps I usually enjoy playing as even when you team is low you can still do some 'sneaky-beaky' actions e.g. Snax from VP had a nice action there. :D
 
The only 'normal' map that I don't like is Inferno. Probably okay with a team but solo queue its horrible to play on.

Also just got a Zowie FK1 today, loving it. Great mouse.

Once I've had dinner I'll add you on one of the smurfs I have access to to give you some carry...IIRC BOT-Westie is the current name of it
 
I was just copying the other silvers on my team. Yes I could have carried them but didn't want to stand out. I still went 24-14 even just using bizon + no armor and trying to do 360 bizon no scopes each round :S

As CT, all my team did was 4 man rush long (dust II) each round...after 3 rounds of that I was like...well then...I didn't actually start out trying to lose that game but not much you can do in 1v5 situation all the time, thought I'd release my inner silver and go with the flow

smurfing and playing **** intentionally is just wrecking lowers ranks buzz.

It's hard for people to learn and rank up out of silvers already with the current ELO system that mainly counts wins to rank up.

It's hard enough already to not get teamed up with mutes, the guy that calls noobs after the 1st 2 rounds or russians.

Just low only thinking about your own in a teambased game.
 
Smurfing is fine IMO

My actual smurfs are the same rank as me MGE / DMG. However I need low rank smurfs as I have adopted 5 silvers. I can't play with them on my accounts due to rank difference and even if it's a full party what is a silver 2 going to learn vs DMG, probably just to hate the game.

So to help teach my adopted silvers, I need low ranked smurfs. As Kuno said, yes it's a team game but some people just paly it for a laugh as were the 4 people I played with last night. They didn't want to work as a team or even go anywhere but rush long, so utterly pointless to try at that point. Better to lose and enjoy myself rather than full on try hard and get frustrated.
