CS:GO Discussion

What time is everyone on? Can only get in a tea, of 3 so far and ended up with a bot :( I'm on for the rest of the evening

Last night was strange like that. We had a premade 5 but one didnt connect and it started the game with a not. Exactly the same thing happened in the game before too

Quick question.

I am wanting to purchase a knife because to be honest it can always be sold and the money can be used for game purchases or even purchase and sell steam gifts so it isn't all dead money.

But obviously not wanting to spend an even more stupid amount for a skin I have set my eyes on a M9 Bayonet - Night ... Reason being is apparently the Field Tested version is practically the same as Minimal Wear but here is my dilemma. I read this below can the actually weapon quality differ?

1 - 0.44 = Battlescarred
0.44 - 0.38 - Well Worn
0.38 - 0.15 - Field Tested
0.15 - 0.07 - Minimal Wear
0.07 - 0.00 - Factory New

What you are referring to is the float value. A knife can be field tested and 0.38 which will look rubbish, but 0.15 will look good (mostly, its not always the case)

Thank you Josh.

Yes that is what I am refering too before purchasing are there any signs to look out for to be able to tell the float value?

Or is it usually just the price and how it appears in the inspect windows (I believe that changes?)

go to csgo.exchange and then calculator/inventory and paste their profile. it will give you the float value

Or do what I do and inspect loads that are for sale to get a idea of what looks like a good wear and whats bad and buy the one that looks the best, I only ever buy FT that look MW but wait for one at a normal FT price, this way you should always break even at least after taking into account the 15% commission when coming to sell.
Prices on some stuff are slowly starting to rise again, looks like this morning was maybe as low as it will go.
Should be about tomorrow morning for a few games if anyone else is about.

So I lost 3 games in a row where I placed 1st/2nd each time on the losing team, played today and drew and got bumped up to Gold Nova Master. In this game I came bottom of my team and had just 3 kills after the first 15 rounds.

I don't get it. I should have been demoted!

I'm on a 7 loose streak at dmg level now and still not been demoted! Would love to know exactly how the ranking system works!
Definitely going to stop solo queuing dmg in the mornings now as they have literally been the worst games, the standard of play is so poor and the teamwork is non existent!

Theres a guide posted somewhere here. Not all losses are equal, if its close then it'll consider that and also doing very well in a losing game doesnt do half as much harm I guess

The skins I looked at to buy were the banned huntsman skins, never anymore of those afaik. Plus I like them also. Plus cache and nuke I looked at but you might not like them and I think the market is biased to fn mostly as the buyers are scarce but rich. Obviously cobble if that drops, probably goes back up.
Cartel is good in that none of the design wears off

Been playing this about 2 weeks. I've always been a Call of Duty player, it's hard getting used to the way you aim on this one. I'm MGE at the moment, although I don't think I'm fully at that level to be fair.

I prefer playing ESEA to matchmaking, a lot less lag and a lot better reg!.
