CS:GO Discussion

They prevented the smoke rebuy quite recently, Mac10 was still working last month when I last tried it - not sure if its the case now.

img, if you full eco the pistol and get a quick frag, you can then run back to spawn and buy the Mac-10/MP9 - assuming you get a quick enough frag to make it back to spawn before the buy timer runs out. It's actually a really old idea, must be make a resurgence.
 
Did some overwatch last night. Not only was a fella clearly hacking as he was head shotting everything through walls, smoke, whatever really but he also had a little party trick where he seemed to be able to generate any weapon he wanted.

Mid round this fella goes into projector room in office generates perhaps 50 pistols on the floor in front of him then a few smg's just for giggles. Steps back sprays them all over the floor then carrys on cheating his way through the game.
 
I still have to work on being too pushy, if I get this bad habbit out of the way it will help a lot :D

Yea I used to do that, addicted to spamming nades :p I believe 6 flashes is the most allowed to buy, used to spend most of inferno start spamming mid with flashes for a 1 man hold

I dont think that much of the smg, just use a pistol and they pretty dam lethal. wouldnt bother trying for it especially, 1 trick is buy armour and be given tec9, the donator can backup snipe with glock

I had a weird game yesterday where I damaged one person, though got a kill assisst on two people? I gave a dumbfounded noise over the mic, like "Ugh?" and two Russsians started laughing like they knew. Maybe totally wrong though I checked and rechecked the console and I definately only hit one guy though definately got kill assist on two.

So I have heard of the ban wave and the affect on the ranks, the way 2kliksphillip is going on though, is as if Volvo have removed all hackers from our sphere of the galalxy forever. Surely any banned hackers will be straight back into our ranking system in no time.
 
Like I said earlier they are still about, me and nikmic encountered a hacker earlier today, doesn't take them long to recode their hacks.

Think my months esea will be getting renewed for sure.
Had a great game on there straight after with everything you could want out of the game.
Teamwork and no hate if we lost a round, was great.

Yeah he just seemed to be proclaiming it as all cheaters had been banished, entirely, for good, a bit I felt. He's obviously right about the rank stat facts, it's what he does and what we all love him for.
Anyway I totally agree about an anti cheat, make it a paid for extra section of course, everyone wins surely.
Come on Volvo, surprise us like RockStar have with GTA V.
 
Old CS had Punkbuster client and the server would check in with it. I think that was before vac existed now and it was down to finding a server which required it.
Esea scans your hard disks, actually gives bit of lag when it kicks in during game for my old powered down hard disks. Vac is far less rigorous just memory I think

He is eagle rank ? The hackers taken out were long standing higher level hacks I think, people who've been at the top ranks for a while is my guess.
Thinking about it, Global elite is far tighter numbers so anyone removed there would amplify its effect down the food chain. So less legit globals forced into eagle, etc
So its possible they are delibrately targeting the more aggressive hacks, lower down I see plenty wall hack in nova for example. One varied hack I saw was to freeze frame one team only, rage hacks are often high level only ? There is a hack that allows you to fly in game, you jump and dont come back down, can fire accurately

1 rank drift I saw was nova 1 to eagle this month :D I didnt think he was that 'perfect' but a fair game lets people learn or advance easier maybe

Yeah you're right, Punkbuster use to be a thing back in the old days. I'm running CS on SSD along with the ESEA client so I haven't noticed any laggs. Althought strangely enough, my ESEA profile randomly pops up in a new tab...

Not allowed to do any transactions outside of the MM.

BTW Pasha's Video Settings 29/04/2015, he changed to 1680x1050. But he than swapped to 1600x900 as he could barely kill anyone, after the change he did an ace xD

Yes, it did cross my mind after posting, that the higher ranks would be cleaner and for longer where as they would be in amongst us lesser novas nigh on staright away; not that I notice many cheaters t.b.h.
Evey single one I have thought was cheating and bothered to check in CSGO Watch has proved me wrong, so generally try to remain positive.

Only thing about FaceIT and ESEA that bugs me is the matches not counting towards rank in CSGO; or do they?
I am still ever hopeful for Overwatch to come out of beta and reward its guardians; as it is, I highly doubt enough reviews are done for the amount of people reported. I myself have only watched two in the past six months or so, (Yesterday and today and both were walling, never used to spot many when I was avidly watching; sign of the times?) for the first couple of years I was quite active on them, doing one or two every session; it's the total lack of feedback from it.



300mb update with nothing exciting for me, the smoke nade limit is hardly necessary now with how tight they have made things for cash.

No it doesn't count towards your rank but esea does track and record more data, it also gives you a RWS score based on your performance.

Think I've got to the point of not caring about my rank so much anymore and would rather just have a good game with skilled players and be able to enjoy it cheater free.

Some of the players on there are insanely good and a joy to play with and watch when you die! Lol

I'm dmg and yet to carry on it but normally end up in the middle somewhere, even in the games ive come bottom ive come away feeling like ive learnt something and not just disgruntled that I may de rank.

Thats not to say ill never play MM though, if people i regularly play with are doing mm ill join them but if I solo from now on ill go esea
 
Nice. Yes, I love watching good players who I can learn from.

To add to what I was saying earlier, I just watched a further eight Overwatches, so out of a total of ten, five wall hackers, four just obviously good players, one extremely so that I learnt a nice a nice nade from. :) Then there was the one guy simply spinning on that spot at spawn, I simply marked him for minor griefing, I guess they were getting panned and he turned his idle script.
Man, two years ago I don't think I spotted five hackers in six months of avid over watching. Bit gutted as rank was my main little carrot to gauge and better myself by; seriously going to have to ditch ever concentrating on that maybe and enjoying the much more relatively cheat free ESEA and FACEIT.
Currently got a months FACEIT going, only because I forgot to cancel it last month.

I may try ESEA again maybe as I was finding the European clients on FACEIT to be more toxic than mm.

If they had a BOT and the guy you got the assist on then took control of the BOT you get an assist when the BOT dies too.

Since I went to LE, the numbers of hackers I play against went up A LOT. Also was playing with a hacker, unknowingly obviously, and he got vacced. He only got spotted once though in the ~6 games I played with him. Legit players like Stu get many more hackusations.
