CS:GO Discussion

If you search on reddit for mouse guide it should answer that or similar questions

dpi is about which mouse you own, some mice let you alter this. If you measure in game how far you must move your mouse to turn a full 360 degree circle that'll give a rough guide of all the settings in sum total.

This one map is good for a variety of crosshairs. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=308490450
I basically altered Ex6TenZ crosshair, I think its quite unique as most use default or static and do the maths in their head imo. Roughly those two are crosshairstyle 4 and crosshairstyle 2

MG2 seems a very good start to me, 5 days old you must be leaning on a good aim, reflex setup there. M14 isnt in this game but I wish it was in full auto form :) It would resemble an ak/sniper hybrid maybe. The galil had a scope in first csgo version, anythings possible people used to mention a T only awp replacement

Man up, doesn't matter whether it's MM, Faceit or ESEA there will always be some toxic people. Use the mute ability ;)

haha. I can take someone saying I'm sh!t or I should have got a simple kill but I'm talking full on revolting behaviour. I did mute but hard to play with no comms.

I might give it a go with others but no more solo.

Faceit pugs are like one step, maybe 2 steps above MM - nothing major (outside of 128 tick).

You get higher quality players and better servers.

Esea is the better service, but costs more and has a quite intrusive anti virus.

I'm getting a lot of visible hitreg and 1 or no hits registered on the killcam, all 1on1 situations. Suffered high ping too. Thought it was just me but seemed to be any British players on the server only.

Had some poor luck lately with MM but that's just the way it is. That plus a lack of sleep due to working hard I'm not enjoying it as much. It's all experience though.

Just hit GNM, might soon be in the higher ranks haha. Only 60 odd wins so far.

I think it's safe to say i had a good game tonight, as usual the other side called me all sorts

Starting to get into CS:GO

Haven't reached 10 wins yet mind you

And then I found this from the old Counterstrike days

I'm not trying to be mean but if you are around GN level it's you missing not bag hitreg. Don't blame 64 tick or other thing, just work on your aim and movement.

High sens is what feels right to me and maybe new players, its way less effort. At lower ranks I think 2000 dpi and 2 sens still let me flick onto heads sometimes at least, I was just liking the new mouse.
It wasnt actually correct but it worked and people will plow ahead, partly with whatever is most comfortable not most accurate. Check that vid I posted it should save time in the end
Prof Chaos is an awesome player, I got to get a mouse cam for his movement. He must have such high skill to move it like that, mousemat is barely bigger then his hand I think. Look at RGN stream now for example of bad setups and

I was going to ask anyway for people to literally post their full config text so I can compare.

It all depends on the dexterity of your hand/wrist, if you can be accurate with high sense than you should seriously consider becoming a surgeon. :p

Most people I play with who are, Supreme and GE use lower sense. The maximum is 3.5 400dpi, but that guy is an entry fragger and mostly plays close distances as on long he struggles.

Nah, as I said, it's visible 200+ ping for british players on the servers. It does eventually settle.

You've called me out twice now saying I need to work on my aim. I don't profess to be any good and I don't take it too seriously as frankly I don't have a massive amount of time to learn. My current issue is mouse sensitivity, trying to get used to it being lower as I really don't like having to move my mouse over a larger area.

I'm usually topping my teams regardless of score. I'm just saying that for the first 5 rounds or so for the past 2 weeks my ping and ping of other british players has been high until it eventually settles. Nothing to do with my play style or ability and obviously makes thing challenging when people or I are teleporting around.

Just an observation, not blaming it, don't care if I suck, I have humility and enjoy the fact I'm not brilliant at this game becasue the level playingfield and the challenge are what makes it fun and engaging for me.

Not having a go by the way, Just making sure I'm clear ;) <3

Usually when you first join a server the ping is super high for most people, but it settles down within a few seconds.

There was actually a post on Reddit by someone who emailed Gabe (Steam) asking/informing about the UK's recent (i.e. the last 9 months) issues we in the UK have had with routing to valve servers.

Gabe actually replied saying there was a routing issue found with something in London or w/e and it was fixed.

Also as for sens 1000 dpi/1.2 in game. Probably should be lower, lower sens is just easier to manage.

^^ that makes more sense
My old dial up isp had a routing team for games, they took about 50ms off the ping. Ive not noticed anything like that here, theres new Polish servers.
Its much harder to improve if you lose from outside factors though aim can be practised some with offline maps , aimbotz is the name of one. cl_interp_ratio 2 may be worth a try

becasue the level playingfield and the challenge are what makes it fun and engaging for me.
yea best thing about csgo is the matching. My first CS server was silver to LEM all on one server, the lower ranks were cannon fodder and had to wait 3 minutes every round. They banned the one global for trolling, he was too good

Not saying they win but its not impossible though G2 have improved consistency. The underdog teams are always my favourite, almost a dollar per 2 breakout cases is an easy bet
