Edit: My Ping seems to be fine now, it dropped to 25-30ms on average, no more jumps upto 500-800ms. Is anyone still having pings of 50ms+?

I do hate this game sometimes.

Solo queing - terrible team, one guy AFK from the start. Loose first half 11-4, One guy has 1 kill (bot has 3!)

Lose the game 16-5, I kill 3 guys in last round and miss the last 2 guys who kill me, I get kicked for being a noob (14 kills), Bot has 5 kills, bottom guy has 2 kills and initiated the vote..........

^^ Comes with the territory mate. I just shrug it off. I was once with a team who kept begging for weapons all through the match. baah.. i cant play with mp7, can i have your m4.... eerrr...wtf?


Can one set cl_updaterate to 128 while connecting to valve servers (MM basically). Mine keeps defaulting to 64.
 
I think it can be set to 80 ? I dont know, I just want to work tbh with no hassle. Im finding recently I should keep rate at 128000 anyhow, that does alter during a game so regardless of the logic something you may want to try alongside net_graph 1

Steam is adding an escrow and multiple day delay to trading if both parties don't have the mobile authenticator enabled
Valve is about to add a new feature that will make trading much harder and longer. When it gets released, it could mean the end of bot trading services too.

'What is Escrow?', After a trade has been accepted by both parties, if either party's account has not been secured by the Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator, then to protect against unauthorized trades, the traded items will be placed in escrow. During the escrow period, the items will not be available to either user. This allows users who have not secured their accounts to cancel any unauthorized trades and recover their items. Canceling all pending and in-escrow trades will place a trading hold on your account for a few days to prevent any further unauthorized attempts to trade away items.

I saw you booyaka, should have sent me an invite though Im often idling but I was there that one time, oh well. Still not sure if a kick saves you from the ELO loss to your rank or not, ditto surrender does that early on save a bigger loss

2 out 2 last games had walls, the last one I did notice but checked his profile and looked legit. Im never sure so I just left it, as I dont want to just always assume but after looking at demo its super obvious with prefire on people who didnt actually turn the corner yet and other stupid stuff. He has a bayonet fade and masterpiece, its ridiculous how bad people want to 'win' & they accused me of cheating because I see his legs in the smoke. The games at my rank are often silly anyway, tons of derp including myself so pointless taking any of it too serious imo just continue to wade through it :p

Im fine with that, if someone has double my kills Im happy to put the investment in their hands and take a pistol armour smokes and pick up a rifle along the way

So many awful players demanding AWPs etc lol. Can go **** themselves :D Most often botton of the score board contributing nearly nothing and think they can start demanding guns from others O_o
 
Started making a bunch of skin wallpapers, like this one for example:

I've current done around 5 (Golden Coil, Kill Confirmed, Hyper Beast, Aquamarine, Muertos) but planning on doing around 30 in total. Will post back at a later date when I have them all done with a link to the full album :)

Love the game but it is so frustrating to play :(
 
That's not to say I won't drop a gun if someone died the previous round and cannot afford a full buy. Just those dribblers that think they are "special"

i seem to be asking for guns a lot lately but then ive been comitting myself to being the entry fragger aswell. clearing b site on mirage seems to be my forte.

got deranked so it must count - on a mad losing streak at the moment - back to GN3:(:(

Yup, aim better.

Nothing wrong with 64 tick, the quality of server is the bigger issue and valves ain't great.

@sabre rate "80000" is 64 tick.

edit...Ranks are so inflated...DMG/LE's who don't buy anything on pistol round and then don't buy armor having won the pistol round. CS really needs new ranks.

I wish there were some up to date stats on the current spread of players.. like how many % of the players are at each rank. I think there is something from a while back but I doubt that's still accurate.
Is the problem there are less hackers? More smurfs carrying friends? More paid for, boosted accounts?

Yeah this winds me up quite a lot if I play solo.

If people aren't actually good with the AWP they really shouldn't bother. They miss shots and end up contributing nothing. At least with a rifle they'll hopefully do some damage in some way

If ranks run similar to a statistical formula, it'll always be something like this which is 'normal distribution':

Broadsword in the next update would be useful. Post config and screenshot or record in game net_graph and it might give clues if anything is amiss

Yea I saw but you can make it back hopefully, nova ranks are the most changeable. According to this guide, kick only deducts your rounds played but then it must look at the final game result to determine - or +
