Kinda ridiculous to be that high and not realise you good. I started off years back with 300 ping on AOL 56k dialup, it did not translate into MGE now!

How to edit the F1 Autobuy

There is a [drive\steam foldername]\SteamApps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo called Autobuy.txt. Open this up in notepad
The end of this text file contains a list of all the weapons the F1 autobuy can use. This list is in a top down order (in other words it tries to buy the first thing on the list, then the second etc depending on how much money you have - if you can't afford item 1 it skips to item 2 and then tries to buy this and so on)
General Tips
Avoid adding more than one pistol. For some reason the engine decides to sometimes buy all of the pistols you can afford, wasting your money.
put vesthelm at the top of the list to stop having to glasscannon rounds by mistake. this means you'll always buy armour when pressing F1
Obviously the game doesn't let you buy T weapons when on the CT side etc.
Also the game doesn't let you autobuy a CZ when you have a tec9 loaded. tec9 is the alias of the weapon slot - not a 1:1 link to the chosen weapon.
Here's my buy list.

Thanks for the F1 thing. HATE that he always buys gun before kevlar/helmet, and also defuse kit on pistol round. UGHHHHHHHH

Great playing with you guys, hope you don't mind me playing a few games on occasion, getting more used to the maps now, callouts etc, no more mp7 buying for me, that nik mic guy is brutal with the auto sniper, does the footsteps really play a big part from a reasonable distance ?

Massive it can change so much,
e.g in mirage as CT stand B short and you can hear underpass and B house so you can get quick call for rush, or if there is 1 or 2 left and you hear footsteps you can call backup before they even realise their mistake.

Also you can hear awp scoping.
 
Argh! In-game mouse movement has broken. There is now a slight but very noticeable delay between moving my mouse and in game movement, both in the menu and in-game, it's virtually unplayable and spectacularly annoying. Has this ever happened anyone? Never seen it in a source game before.

I'll try restoring from a backup because this is impossible.
 
I really need to find some people to play CS with - Im really really sick to death of solo-queing and ending up a team of people with no comms and refusing to cooperate with each other.

I used to play in a 3-4 man stack (when I started the game) and so ended up at fat pigeon (Ive no idea of the real name) by the time I got my 10 wins. Since then Ive been solo-queuing a steadily deranking, Im at double-AK now. I would really appreciate it if a few of you chaps around or above this level could drop me an add on Steam (username is Cookeh - I have a bubble over a landscape as my profile pic) and invite me to a few games. I will warn you, some of my strats are a bit rusty and Ive not put any real time into CS in quite a while due to the solo-queue rage.
 
I'm up to Gold Nova 2 now, so still not on the same level as a lot of you here. Getting into the game quite a bit now where before I'd probably play 10 minutes and go back to Source, still not fully converted though. A couple of weeks ago I had a good run with a friend (for part of it) and had 7 or 8 MM wins straight in one day which was a pretty good feeling.

Would be interested in a game or two with you lot at some point because apart from the one previously mentioned friend not many people play Global Offensive on my friends list.

If you have it enabled it causes input lag?

Also, i'm in a bit of a situation, some guy is offering me FN M4a4 Howl and 60 keys for my buttefly, another is offering me FN Howl, FN cyrex and usp orion.

Can't find it in me to part with my beautiful knife though :(
