CS:GO Discussion

Played 6 competitive in the last 2 days. Lost 2, won 1, drew 3. Really frustrating and am plummeting down the ranks.:(

As for vanguard, I thought it said somewhere you would have time to do all the missions? I still have a small handful left.
 
Vanguard has been pretty crap I have max 4 missions left to do and about 9 options.

admittedly i've wasted a few easy ones becuase I CBA to play competitive on wierd maps with randoms.



Things that have annoyed me about it are.


Specific Side missions Get X kills with CT gun on inferno. Join a game can only go T and there are 10 CT's vs 5 T's

Joining games as they end. G thanks Valve thanks for wasting my queue position on a just ended game that every person who has just got the reward then troll votes a different map to make everyone else leave.

Joining games with < 2 rounds to go. getting 30 kills in casual is hard enough to do in a timely fashion. let alone joining a server where it's 7 - 6 to CT.

Too easy to achieve the gold star.

MAking you get arms race wins since the arms race changes actually winning is irritatingly hard quite often the guy not being hghlighted as red below me has won becuase he's been able to get into an advantageous position two get teh last two kills before i get a knife.



I've made my money back so I don't care about that. Sold about 5 Vanguard boxes whilst they were worth 40p or more

I have 1 mission left from the vanguard operation I got gold before Christmas and never got a decent drop from doing them
 
I've quite enjoyed the Vanguard missions as they push me to play maps/modes I wouldn't normally do.

Having said that, I have had absolutely nothing worthwhile drop (and I have done a lot of missions as I also bought the two expansions).

Last shot for a Dragonlore tonight but I am not hopeful!
 
I've found it a good way back in to CS without having to start playing competitive again. My rank is way above my skill level right now, I am rusty and it takes time to start being able to play at that level again. I created a new account to try and get myself back in the swing of things but found operation vanguard threw me in to the thick of it with lesser skilled players.
 
I got the most basic skins on the dragon lore missions lol worth less than 6p in total but they keep my kid happy so its all good
 
So many people making there money back from missions or cases and im over here like ahh ill just add another £4 to my steam wallet! Lol

Anyone on today? Just had 2 really good wins with randoms but font know if i want to risk a 3rd

Also....Tragic / Funny that yet again just before a Valve Major Screams team is no more. Last time due to a cheater, this time due to match fixing. That guy has the worst luck in CS surely.

I am on most nights either playing matches or doing missions, if anyone has a spare space to fill drop me a invite. ill try and do better than the random Russians you get stuck with! lol

must be due to go up soon, lots of wins, only one loss in the matches shown in my 'watch' history, plenty of MVPs on the score sheet too.

really not feeling out of my depth playing in matches against single/double AKs either.
