Well although employer has deducted wages, I'm not in the clear as the debt is with me, not my employer, the AoE was just an enforcement to make sure money got to them (which is wasn't)
Don't see how you can still be personally liable. The AoE legitimised your employer deducting the cash from your take home. The moment he's deducted it, he/the company become liable for it, not you

It doesn't surprise me the CSA have not managed your case correctly, and they are now falling back on their default position of sticking their fingers in their ears, ignoring everything which has happened and chasing you for the debt (which they will)
No suprise here that the CSA are doing what they are doing, I have a good friend he got screwed by these, in the end he just went directly to his Ex and asked her to opt out - cost him his car and a house but she at least didnt want to take any more action with CSA
