LCR might be a bit more "bird friendly" if she isn't one to rag it. saying that, the power comes in very low down, at least VTEC might stay out her reach ;)

Going back to come of your earlier post about preferring diesels, thats a weird fettish you should probably keep to yourself. Its like having a thing for womans shoes or fat chicks ;)

I don't understand why this thread has turned into having a go at the OP for his financial arrangements. That's his business, he wanted to talk cars.

I hope you get a CTR, they are absolutely beautiful cars and I'm sure you and your wife will love it. I've seen some pretty good examples for ~£8k on Pistonheads and Auto Trader.

Going down this afternoon to sign for our new car :)

pics to follow this afternoon

It all looks great

Configuration 1.8 Liter Turbocharged Inline 4
Valvetrain DOHC 5 Valves / Cylinder
Displacement 1781 cc / 108.7 cu
Power 156.6 kW / 210.0 bhp at 5800 rpm
Torque 270 Nm / 199.2 ft lbs at 2100 rpm

Until you get to this:

Weight 1320 kg / 2,910 lbs

Weight 1320 kg / 2,910 lbs

I think the EP3 around 1204-1230kg (with Aircon)

In either case, both those cars will come across like lightweight stripped out hot hatches the way things (weight in particular) are going.

As much as I like the EP3, for a girl that doesn't sound like a total driving enthusiast, the Cupra is probably a better buy.
I am awaiting the "girlfriend killed by turbo surge" thread though.
