try a LCR we back to backed on a CTR and a LCR and the spanish golf wins hands down,

CTR's just a 4 wheeled moped :)

(i jest it was a close run thing for us choosing)

I love the way you started out wanting a CTR and saw all the plus sides to it, now you can't stop pimping the LCR while slating the CTR. quiet funny.

Some people like the power delivery of a CTR and V-tec engine. Looks are down to personal pref.

While he was joking, I think this is a major point to be made.

We have personal preferences. I've driven both the LCR and the EP3 CTR on numerous occasions, and I'd take the CTR every time, unless I was exclusively pounding the motorways. However, that's my opinion, both are good cars with different good and bad points.

There have been a few examples of borderline fanboy behaviour in motors recently, I got jumped for daring to say I thought the LCR was soft (it is compared with the CTR) even though I said it was a good car.

There aren't that many truely bad cars on the market these days, only bad cars for your situation or preferences.
