I like korma too but I also like a bit of heat, not loads. So one the rare occasion I have a curry when out I ask them to make it a bit spicy and they're usually happy to oblige.
Last week I had a curry and wanted to go straight to the end and have a Jalfrezi but chickened out at the last moment and had a Pathia instead which is also a new curry for me. I really like the taste and the "heat" was ok. I didn't finish it by submitting to the heat, I didn't leave a lot and on the other hand these curry portions are huge.
If you like korma but like some heat with it, I thoroughly recommend a chicken Ceylon curry. Made with coconut cream like korma but not as sweet, more curry like than korma and a fair bit hotter, probably a tad weaker than madras. But it's an absolutely delicious curry.
