Custom PC Advice

I'm concerned that you're complicating your build with 2 SSDs for RAID for a debatable performance increase given you appear new to building computers. You certainly can do it, and it's not that hard, it's just adding additional complexity for very low benefit. Personally, given two identical SSDs I would not RAID them even though I know how as it's just not worth it in a normal PC, or if buying a new PC I'd go for a single larger SSD over several small ones, but of course it's up to you :)

I have two SAS drives just now striped and they are a lot faster together, i just assumed two ssd would be the same!

They will be faster, but the difference is much smaller - the performance characteristics of SSDs are very different. If you've done it before though then no worries, give it a shot if you like :)

If you had two 670s you could SLI them even if they are different 670s.

Edit: To steal a line from an SSD review, talking about what a single SSD can do...
100,000 4 KB IOPS is 400 MB/s worth of throughput, or roughly 100x what a 15,000 RPM SAS drive offers.
