I'm having enough difficulty deciding whether to play Corpo or Nomad on my first run through. Only thing I know for certain at the moment is that I have no interest at all in Street Kid (so far removed from me that I would have difficulty relating and immersing myself) , so I will certainly do one playthrough as Corp and then another playthrough as Nomad....I just need to decide which way round.

On another note. Have bought the Collector's Edition and been told by the shop I bought it from that they are not allowed to ship them before the 8th of December. So most likely, unless really lucky(!), it wont be here in time to preload and play the game when it releases at midnight. Might have to buy the game and get a code for it unless wanting to wait until the package decides to show up. Heard that those that bought the The Last of Us 2 Collectors Edition had to wait two days after launch until they had the code and could play the game. Would have thought that if you buy a CE that they would make damn sure you had it before the game releases !
Guess time will tell ! I.e. Tuesday the 9th that is !

Yeah. I am doing street kid last also. Initially I was planning to go corpo first, but can see the appeal of nomad. Like you I have yet to fully decide yet.
Oh and I have stayed away from any articles, just seen a few videos and that is it. I do not want to spoil the game for myself. I will play at my own pace and explore a lot. I will try and do every side quest possible on first playthrough.
I have it on steam and preload is less than a week away now
Just started Half Life Alyx which will keep me busy until then

I think you would have to define what constitutes a big deal, a scientist working on a cancer cure is a big deal imo, the leader of a nation is a big deal, someone who gets paid to stream video games isnt , in my book at least, a big deal. He's just a nerd who has found a way to make a lot of money by playing games.

It’s more of a sarcastic comment that I’ve got no interest in his opinion. I’m vaguely aware he’s a streamer but I don’t watch streamers so he doesn’t matter to me. I wouldn’t know him if I bumped into him in the street.
He’s not a big deal to me. I realise he’s financially successful and good for him.

The difference with shroud is that he doesn't care about being the biggest streamer out there, he doesn't care about fancy intros or cut scenes he just plays games for fun and streams. I would say the reason why he is so popular is because of his raw aiming talent and the fact he is so chill and not a try hard. For that reason he is a big deal in my books because he has got to where he is by skill and not being fake
In the streaming world, as someone to be deified by gamers maybe you could say he's a big deal (although the farce with him moving to Mixer cost him a lot of his subscribers, he's not even in the top 30 streamers on Twitch anymore), but in my reckoning someone is only a big deal if they are doing something which changes the lives of millions and millions of people for the better. Shroud is just a gamer, who is good at some games and streams himself doing it, for me, a person needs to be more than that to be a big deal. In streaming terms he's a big deal but thats not really any different to saying that Mortimer and Whitehouse are a big deal in fishing terms.
His aim and reactions are incredible at times though I must admit, sometimes I wonder if he is even human !
I just remembered I don't watch any streamers, problem solvedMultiple monitors, its 2020 after all, no need to only have one monitor still
