The reviews go up 6pm today, my mate has pretty much put the game to bed in around 70 hours with just a few gigs left on the map, seen 4 endings by reloading saves. He's on his second run through now. He's going to give it a 10 but he says it has lots of bugs which should be fixed on the day one version. He's sent me some screenshots and it looks stunning, the RT is unreal.

Sounds good. Exactly what my expectations are.

Hehe yeah hopefully that is the game in performance mode on a console otherwise they are done.

Well they are using a controller because the movement mimics one exactly. When the guy gets off the bike. No way is that a mouse. So definitely console version.
There is a black mailbox on the right just as they turn the corner right and it just pops into the view.

Steam or GOG, but with GOG you can either use GOG Galaxy or just download and install the game with no DRM/client

General consensus seems to be GOG, but I couldn't find anything official.

Wow, this thread's over 8 years old. That must be up there for oldest but still relevant thread on the board.

The only other one relevant is the ETS2 thread but that is 6 months later. Very impressive.

where's everyone gone for GOG or steam?
GOG no DRM/copy protection at all = good
Steam well steam itself is DRM but if the game supports mods then steam instantly becomes the better place to buy it? since some modders won't put their mods on nexus etc

Never had an issue modding GOG games, it's just easier in Steam I guess.
