*** Cyberpunk 2077 ***

Yeah I think if you can look pass some of the bugs and get involved in the world and story, I really enjoyed it and looking forward to the update and dlc. Does look amazing as well.

One puzzling thing just on a side note is how many people are giving starfield a pass with so many bugs and issues but because it's a Bethesda game is fine. Not knocking it and purple enjoy it but from what I have played cyberpunk is in a much better position.

I played starfield for 2 days early access before I stopped, the game is just bland and why it has had such high praise from the press is beyond me (money obviously).

Of course I've heard the usual, oh you only played 15 hours, that's not enough you gotta play 50 for the game to be fun. You what? if its not at least interesting in the first hour I'm not wasting my time any more than I do already.

That's an £85 game, do I feel burnt by Bethesda, nope because in 6 months time or more the modders will fix it and I'll give it a go then.

I played it for the last week and had lots of fun so far. So has everyone else I know who dipped into it. I find most of the really negative comments are on social media.

But then I found the same with Cyberpunk 2077 at launch. It was buggy and CDPR did scale back the RPG elements(which is a shame) but I had a lot of fun but social media was complaining the most.

Same old for every game. Thankfully modders also helped make CP enjoyable too, ala 'a Bethesda'.

Don't get me wrong cyberpunk is one of my favourite games, can't wait to jump right back in on Thursday with patch 2.0.

SF just didn't appeal to me and I love space stuff, play elite dangerous and star citizen all the time. I'm that saying that I've never really been a fan of the fallout/skyrim games and SF is fallout with spacey bits.

Only mods I've ever used in Cyberpunk are the unlock "extra" content ones, you know what I mean ;)

Other than that the base game is exceptionally good. If cp2077 released in the same state of patch 1.63 it would have been an instant 10/10.

I've said before I loved the main quest/set pieces and some of the companion sides, it was just everything in-between. Like I was left wanting more, felt like I'd been robbed because there was this huge great looking world and just nothing really to do in it. I won't have as good an experience the second time because though the gameplay has been revamped, there are no story surprises to look forward too outside of the new content. Shame.

I thought they were fixing some of the RPG aspects or is that only for the expansion content?

Edit!!

I agree about the world being a bit empty. The NPCs had very few dialogue options, and there were lots of vendors you couldn't even interact with in anyway. It seems the 70000 voicelines were focussed around the main NPCs and characters. Starfield apparently has 250000(Fallout 4 had over 100000).

I am really surprised that modders haven't tried to release their own expansions, like they do with Fallout/Skyrim with custom voiced NPCs and characters. The city is an amazing backdrop IMHO.

Is your Is your monitor's OSD set up correctly? Did you run the display calibration screens in the game options too? If the test images align with what they should be then there's no reason things should look off unless there's a display or settings issue at play.
