*** Cyberpunk 2077 ***

No, from what has been revealed, it's more a separate district with few ties into the main campaign. More just hints from what I've read. As for the technicals, the new 2.0 patch which should be here today essentially patching the whole base game whilst the DLC only brings in an extra skill tree (powers you unlock as part of the expansion campaign early on) and maybe some expansion specific collectables, weapons and cars.

I'd suggest getting base game first unless you can get both for pretty cheap.

Sweet, already got the base game for cheap last week.

I was wishing for a bit more to do with the factions etc. I know making the starting choices actually affect gameplay would be quite hard to do but was kinda hoping they would still add more to the factions across the city etc. I know there's a mod that does this, but was hoping CDPR would do it officially. It's good to see there is a lot of great changes such as the health, stamina and skill tree's :)

Yeah. That is disappointing.

I might consider just continuing my save to just do the dlc and roam around. Should be a good 25-30 hours still which is good. Then at some point in the future start it with factions mod.

Will see how I feel once I launch the game next week.

My second playthrough wasn't that long ago and was all on Patch 1.63 and I left it in a place where I could dive in to the DLC straight from there - Probably 80% through the game.

I thought about doing this, I was beyond excited for the original release, I bought the tin limited edition, game guide book (was terrible btw) and I tried my best to play it. I got 10 hours in and have checked back every now and then to see if it's close to what they promised.

I tried a few weeks back and still, nothing like they promised so I really hope 2.0 changes that else this really is a throw away game :(

Oooh just saw you can transfer a save file from Playstation to PC, so I won't have to go through the motions of the main game to get to the expansion thankfully. Great feature.

Yeah I see £29.99 on Steam or £50 for the bundle inc expansion. Is it best played on keyboard or controller? I assume controller for the driving sections.

It's great on controller, very playable and with 2.0 probably even more so as they will be pushing hard for console playability as they aren't restricted to crappy hardware anymore (ps4 etc)

I use mouse and keyboard. The driving part was meant to be much better with a controller which hopefully they have fixed in 2.0

Oh and with your rig the game will look utterly gorgeous

I doubt it will be what they promised back then. But it will be a lot better than launch.

I am hoping Cyberpunk 2 will meet my expectations p(which they originally set).

I would love there to be more gangs/factions and what you do in game having a major impact on the map. Like being able see borders of influence change or wipe a whole faction out. Maybe merge etc. All this kind of dynamic stuff that increases replay value.
