*** Cyberpunk 2077 ***

obvious question but have you got any mods installed?
Nope, no overclocking of CPU or GPU either. System stable under non-gaming use. Seemed to start occurring frequently after it first happened when I originally switched between CP2077 and a desktop app but now just crashes anytime, even when just using the inventory/skills menus. Have verified the game files in case something has been corrupted. Will try Witcher 3 for a few hours when I get the chance which was next on my list to try to have a run through of. If that's fine will try a reinstall of CP2077.

EDIT: Clean installation of Nvidia driver fixed the issue.

Crashes to the Cyberpunk "Send error report" window for me. Can hardly play 15 mins between crashes. Started happening before the latest patch however so not that. Shame as it's the one game been trying to get into and after restarting it from the beginning have managed to enjoy the game. Now it's unplayable.
Installing something else to try to diagnose where the problem is (CP2077 or drivers, gpu etc)
Same here. Never played this before, bought and installed two days ago (Steam ver) and the game was crashing every 5-15minutes. Updated the drivers for my 3090 and it only crashed once since.

Anyone got any LUT recommendations? I've fallen down the rabbit hole of trying out new ones.

Liking the contrast from this one for me it suits the dystopian feel

Even with all the updates I've found some characters I can play without too many issues, others will cause game stopping issues and crashing - I can play for hours on my original character with barely a hitch, couple of times with new characters I can't get more than 2 hours into the game before things start falling apart (which aren't just fixed by restarting the game).

Its tough to say with frame gen on because fps shows much higher but 1% lows hover around 90 fps with the odd spike because you know, cyberpunk.

I don't run any ray tracing but everything is maxed apart from reflections are on high.

The following two settings I turn off because they are bugged in cyberpunk:

local shadows
ambient occlusion

If you haven't noticed why these are bugged then I envy you and I won't link examples in case you can't unsee it. The only solution is to use ray traced lighting and local shadows which costs too much imo especially for my card.

Also crowd density is a biggy for performance, I'm forced to use high and my CPU just about handles it thankfully. Low or medium has a bug where NPC's will disappear and/or pop in if I quickly look away and back again. Only happens on foot when the engine spawns in more crowds. I'd be curious to know if anyone else has noticed this btw as its not talked about loads online.

Edit - Forgot to say I also force 16x anisotropic filtering and high quality textures via nvidia control panel but idk how much this affects performance if at all. Maybe VRAM more.
