*** Cyberpunk 2077 ***

Rumours going round about another dlc for this game featuring a bunch of detective missions to do with river ward. This could very very interesting since I found his mission about the missing kids very good
I dont believe it, he's not that popular of a character and it goes against what they've previously said (though if they outsource it to the people who did the recent patch - that would explain a few things).

I'm happy to be proved wrong cos any C2077 content is better than none

My personal favourite mod of the week - "that gun" from Blade Runner 1982. Also downloaded Harrison Ford voiceover, but not played properly with it yet :) (evrything's on Nexus)

There are a few somewhat hidden random crime scenes around the city, at least I don't think they are tied into the game particularly, so may be something which was pre-planned but put on the back burner with how things panned out.

Is there anywhere that lists the best mods for this? A mix of graphics, gameplay and additions (cars etc). There's a lot out there and it's hard to know what's best.
Imo there is only one 100% essential mod, the HD textures mod https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/7652.
e.g. before and after

Everything else is subjective, and the game is a design masterpiece- the models, the environment, the lighting...

So owning this on PC and not getting round to it and bad press, I’ve since finished ragnarok on ps5 and bought this for the ps5

I’m thinking of going into it on easy mode, I’m here for the story, happy to get to grips with fighting and using the right tools, but don’t want too much retrying (gone of the days on my beating games on Veteran, last was COD 2 on Xbox)

Any immediate tips on starting this? Character setup etc. My aim like GoW is to do the main story and a few side quests.

For setup what do you want to be? A net runner, a time slowing samurai/pistoleer, a brute who charges up close with a shot gun etc Then pick a stat build (yes you can respec if you change your mind)

for quests ignore the npc's saying "do this now!" Do quests as you see fit, there are almost zero ramifications to this. you'll probably find easy mode too easy, especially after you've got some gear/cyberware so increase difficulty level to suit.

Otherwise enjoy!

Ah right, so if I start easy and I increase difficulty if I find it too easy?

Net runner sounds good.

Looking forward to this now. I also googled and apparently saves are cross platform. Thinking of building a new PC over the summer assuming no stock issues :-) so that’s good. I’ll be able to see how nice owl city looks on an up to date gfx card maybe.

Do you mean the 3D audio one, or has there been another one?

Yeah I’m not interested in the mods that strip out everything that makes it cyberpunk and into a rainy driving simulator. I’ll take a look, thanks :)

I’ve have to revert for FSR 2.1 as even with the various mods to improve FSR 3.0, it still looks terrible with constant tearing.

I suspect the tearing is a function of my ancient rig dropping below the minimum frame rate FSR 3.0 recommends before engaging frame generation.
