*** Cyberpunk 2077 ***

  • The game features over 1000 NPCs, all of them have their own unique lives and unique daily routines. This number is much higher than The Witcher 3 which however has a larger area.
  • Many have forgotten the evolution that is the real-time dialogue wheel. Even during a shootout, you can communicate with your allies or talk to your enemies, without the game stopping.
  • The game has no cinematic, everything is in real time and in first person. At no time will you be able to put the controller down, thinking of watching a movie.
  • Silence is a viable response. If you talk to a character and you don't answer, they won't stare at you for ages. Not responding is a form of responding.
  • There are all kinds of romances: from friendship to the classic couple, including a one-night stand or sexfriends, there is something for everyone.
  • It is possible to customize the character's teeth, and even the genitals. For men, you can change the length of the penis and even decide if it is circumcised or not. For women you can also customize the vagina.
  • These customizations can rise certain comments at times in the game and even open up to sections of entire quests.
  • The sex scenes are pretty hard. According to a Russian journalist who saw one, Cyberpunk 2077 "come close to pornography."
  • One hour in real life is 8 hours in Night City. A day on Cyberpunk ingame therefore corresponds to 3 IRL hours. For comparison, a day on Skyrim is 1h20.
  • A bit like GTA 4 and GTA 5, you can go out with characters, drink a beer, play a game, invite them to your home and deepen your bonds (or degrade them). Each of these outings is unique and gives rise to interactive dialogues and choices of answers, and can lead to romances.

I shall make a guy with a tiny wang who kicks off at the slightest provocation due to having being bullied throughout his youth in the changing rooms for his lack of pubic hairs and tiny man sausage. I shall name my character Microdong

Anyone you know? LMAO.

This as I have been anticipating will take the number 1 spot as my all time favourite game. Happy to be getting a RTX 3080 to run it at 4K :D

Still going to hold off till we get the game with all its expansions, give me time to get a pc that can play it at max settings. Not usually a graphics whore but with story games like this the graphics will add to the immersion like Witcher 3.

As much as I'm looking forward to this, I'm going to hold off buying it until Xmas. That way, I have more time to play and a great way to escape from the general chaos.

Am I the only person in the world who isn't really bothered about this game? :p

From the bits I've seen it just doesn't appeal to me at all - either graphically or as a game

L, O, and if I might venture: L

:D

I'm kinda at the point where I don't want to read any more about it for fear of either overload or too much information that spoils it for me. I just kind of want to know if being a Street Kid, Corpo or Nomad makes a huge difference mid to late game or is it all the same.

Is it just me or does anyone else get massive Grand Theft Auto vibes from this game? That might be exciting for a lot of people, but for me, I'm actually a little worried. They keep reiterating that it's a full-blown RPG, but I just don't get that feeling from all the material I've seen. It just looks like a cyberpunked GTA with the same crackpot characters and an end goal to rule the area/city/map by going from one quest giver to the next.

That might sound a little overly negative, but as an RPG fan and someone who thinks Witcher 3 is one of, if not THE best game ever made, the pre-launch promotional campaign isn't really gripping me the way everyone else seems to be.
