Creating a whole narrative about who cyclists* are is exactly what I did - it was intentional. Let me expand further:
It's not what I think, hence why I clarified it was sarcasm in the follow up post, and was presenting as the caricature of the person you think you are replying to.
I guess now that I have taken the effort to explain that you, an apology would be welcome, but not expected.
* Suggesting cyclists are all the same is the bloody point of my post. It's how people, like the OP sees them in general, as a 'certain' type of person. As if that's all there is too them. There's no naunce. No thinking about the other point of view. It's one of the reasons I asked to be blocked from GD over a year ago, because every single thread is a fight of 'goodies Vs baddies'.
Everyone has a right to use that tow path, and in an ideal world everyone (and their dog
) will extend every courtesy to whomever they come across - but that isn't the world live in, it's full of ***** that ruin it for everyone else, and they come in all flavours.
