D-Link DNS-323 question

Are you using XP as the client? It seems that it may only be Windows 2003 and Windows Vista that have the problem according to the DNS-323 Wiki.

I'm using Vista and see the error immediately when trying to copy the file.

just tried to access the NAS using the vista pc :(
it keeps crashing,probably drivers ....maybe .it is only a trial version.so i can`t say if it is the reason you can`t transfer large files.will have another go on the weekend but i don`t hold out a lot of hope(it will only be connected via wireless too)
 
Well I was going to put Vista on my HTPC box, looks like not going to bother now!

Why should Vista LAN chat be broken, surely it's just communicating to IP? No drivers needed.
 
installed vista ultimate on a diff pc now,currently transfering a 5g+folder via wireless to the NAS will let you know if it succeeds.no errors or complaints so far
