Daddy, I can't get my toys out of your computer

Ah....kids...you've got to love them......Had a lovely pair of AR18S speakers...until my eldest son decided to poke the tweeters inside out and totally destroy the diaphragms by poking a power ranger through them.....it took all the self control I had not to beat the little blighter within an inch of his life

why do people love to poke speakers in? :(

I have a simple solution:

At least no harm was done to your son or any serious harm to your PC, it could certainly have been a lot worse. If a rattly subwoofer is the only thing your son breaks then you've probably done pretty well and at least he was honest enough to tell you. :)

Would it be possible to encase the subwoofer in a mesh drawstring bag (e.g. the kind you put wet kit in) so that the sound is basically unaffected but he can't push toys down inside the ports?

Me: "What's that mate?" (to my 4 year old)
Son: "Your computer....they're stuck."
Me: "Oh, shall we go take a look?"
Son: "I'm worried you'll be cross, they are stuck in your black box too"
Me: "You put them in the subwoofer ports again?"
Son: "erm"
Me: "Lets have a loo... For the love of..."

Transformers are now inside my PC. Optimus prime is laying on my GFX card and has stopped the CPU fan. Idle temps.....oh it's locked up. No **** sherlock. Must remember to lock that side panel next time. Over to the subwoofer. Look down the port tubes and can't see anything. Yep, he's pushed said toy right down and inside.

I love my kid.

;)

I've got this to look forward to twice over, when my 2 year old is 4 however, the 2 month old will be 2 and he'll be egging her on.
