Don't know if anyone remembers but a while ago, there was a post about a red GTO that got written off, that was my dads

Should have got the 330cd, that would have been what you were expecting! Although not quicker, it certainly feels like it is from the shear amount of Porsche 911 beating torque!

That's not a limited edition, its a 330Ci SE with an aftermarket bodykit, possibly an AC Shnitzer(sp)?

Looks smart. Not a massive fan of those wheels, personally I'd replace them with the 18" MV's that come with the E46 Sport. Then it would look tip-top :cool:

Circa. 230bhp IIRC, crap torque though (compare to the 330d anyway) only 300NM@3500rpm.

0-62 in 6.5 (manual), 0-100 in 17.1s

330d (my favourite)

231bhp, 500nm@1750rpm
0-62 in 6.7 (manual, 0-100 in 17.4s

Dam it, both have the same bhp! Wait, someone is still going to tell me that the Petrol is quicker right!

E46 330d is 184bhp or 204bhp not 231bhp.

Sorry, was comparing it to the new 330d lump! Nothing a remap couldn't fix!!

The 330d is a good engine, but a coupe shouldnt have a diesel engine, especially a coupe that looks like the above.
