Hi,
I see there are quite a lot of cheap (£50) linux based NAS devices on the market now. If I were to buy one of these, would I be able to access the NAS from Windows 7 without any additional software? Could I map a network drive to the NAS as I would with another machine on the network or would the EXT2/3 file system stop that from happening?
I want to set up a passive music server with the storage sat somewhere else, ideally via a cheap NAS with a couple of drives in RAID1...
