Dali Speakers

Finally decided and went with the Dali Kubik free and xtra speakers. Connecting them via toslink and I have the option to add a sub later.

God dayum!

These things sound amazing, burning them in at the moment (they arrived today). Soundstage is impressive and being bombarded with detail I didn't know I was missing. Rob Zombie sounds mighty fine on these, very impressed.

Well packaged and presented, bigger than I'd imagined but in a glad way. Decent weight to them, just wary of the remote everyone seems to hate but no reason to complain so far. Think I got the newer brushed metal version of the remote, comfy in use.

Hardest part will be concealing the wires coming out the back and that white umbilical cord that connects the speakers that stands out like a sore thumb on my black desk lol. Just gonna have to use my cable routing holes in the desk to best effect.

I just got the Dali e9f sub yesterday. i had few probs setting it up but all good now the instructions say red light on standby and when a source is detected the light goes green and it doesn't the light goes blue and stays blue so it was misleading and thought i was not getting any sound from it but its all set up now get yourself a Dali e9 to go with them it adds extra. My mate works at RS HULL and i got discount and got it for £339 and he did me a demo and you could tell from the off big improvement in Base even though the Kubic One sounds really good without one just when i thought the Kubic One sounds great this thing sounds Amazing with the e9f
 
Yeah the Dali sub is definitely on my radar even more so now I've heard the speakers. So glad I went with Dali, quality in build and sound is excellent.

Yea the remote is not brilliant. I have the new metal version but was a pain in use. So i programmed it to use the Samsung TV remote bigger and easier. Looking to change now though and get myself a Logitech Harmony Companion. Checked Logitech website and the Kubic One is there and can be programmed into the remote so that was a bonus
