I need to prove I am real to a company I am dealing with but I cannot pass the security checks. No mobile phone bill as I am pay as you go due to hardly using phones (I prefer email and online based communication). No bank statements as its all online based and paperless. No paper based bills.

Ok I have a passport but a passport by its self is not enough. They want evidence I live at my current location. Anyone else have or had the problem where everything is so online based there is no paper trail?

Go into the bank and ask for a bank statement. They should be able to print one out for you there and then. If you need to prove you're still at a certain address, then just ask them to send you one in paper then go back to paperless.

As said council tax, rental agreement, work contract/pay slip. Car insurance or other insurance.

There's just certain stuff you can't do online.

If you print bank statement off does it have your address on?

Can't you go onto your online bank and print a statement off.

Remember when Lloyds "asked" me to stop paper statements they said that you can print any statement off from the past 6 months.

Can't they just look on 192.com? If you go and put your name and postcode in you can see if you come up (sometimes need to pay - but even if it's a paid result it'll tell you it's there just not show you all the detail).

Why don't you get them to send you something to your address and then you can take it back to them?

Bit off the cuff, and they'd probably raise an eyebrow at the suggestion...

Generally, I had to pay £5 for mine lol

Yep, I'm completely paperless and any rent agreements etc are all years and years old so don't count because they want everything to be less than 3 months old. It's a complete pain in the butt.

I can't actually remember what I did. I walked across the road and got a statement printed from my bank which was rejected, they didn't accept printouts of online accounts, it was ridiculous. All I had was my council tax bill from the beginning of the year.
