Got a call from the missus today letting me know some idiot hit our car whilst she was out in it.

Hit by a guy in a Ford Mavrick whilst crossing a roundabout, apparently he crossed over into the lane she was in and hit the front right side, god knows why he didn’t see her there but luckily enough some nice chap stopped and step forward to be a witness for her so hopefully we can get this sorted out by the insurance fairly quickly.

Still a pain in the backside having to run round and get everything sorted though.

Indeed but I've had a couple of offs on the bike where both times witnesses have become uncontactable and caused me no end of grief but hopefully this won’t be the case this time.

ouch, luckily it doesnt look too bad. One of my major pet hates, idiots who forget any kind of lane discipline on roundabouts. I cant understand how seem ppl seem unable to stick to there own lanes instead of swerving across like schumacher trying to clip the apex whilst your car is there!

At least the guy didn't drive off. Small consolation I know but it could have been worse.

I'd try and get the guy to settle it outside insurance if you could. Not likely I know but insurers will try anything to increase your insurance come renewal time.

True. If there had been no witness then you can bet that you would have been forking out quite a bit to get that mess sorted mate. Is your missus ok? Buy her a nice bottle of plonk and give her lots of hugs to let her know that everythings okay

Well the car came back from the body shop today, it only took a couple of days but long enough to suffer the nasty little Micro I had as a loan car.

Very pleased with the results and they even gave it a good clean so thought I'd grab a few pics.

Fox, heres another pic which shows it a little better but can grab some tomorrow if you want. The spoiler is a BMW part, dealer fit option I believe.
