Damn chavs!

You can cull them but they'll keep breeding. You need to find the Queen Chav. I hear Chatham is the nest...

You poor person.

Never had a problem living there if I'm honest, there are nice roads and terrible roads dotted throughout Medway, my parents live on a nice one.

Just stay away from the high street.

I don't live there any more though :)

We've got seven canisters of CN-20. I say we roll them in there and nerve gas the whole nest ?

Its the only way to be sure..................

So I was walking through Hales Place today and I found these...

did you know that Chav stands for....

"Council house and violent" - not my words and no disrespect to council tenants - that's what it stands for. In scotland they are/were called Ned's... Non educated delinquents...

Ten years ago before the term 'chav' was in common use, it used to be 'townies' because they were the kind of people who hung around the town all the time with nothing better to do. Before that it was 'scallys', although I have no idea why.

It does not mean that, urban rumour.
It comes from the roman word chavi meaning child. There are tones of theories of how it came about, one suggestion is that the independents in Cheltenham used to refer to the Cheltenham average as "chav". I doubt so considering Cheltenham is pretty middle class.
Another theory is that it comes from Chatham, Idc but all I know is that there are a lot in my hometown and most of them need to sort their life out.

Mate, you can't tell me it's not something and then give many "theories" on what it could mean...
