So I've put together everything I want, and am ready to hand over the money. Not too bothered anymore waiting 3 months for possible free delivery as I was going to originally. I want it and I want it now, lol. This is it in the screenshot, but..

I just rang ocUK and spoke to someone and asked him how much will it cost if they put it together for me and I was told they don't do that, I can only buy one of their pre-built systems. Hmm, was hoping they would, I really don't want to be fiddling with installing some of this stuff and not sure how good a local shop will be. Any suggestions other than do it myself? :p Also at bottom of screenshot, it says 'DPD Next Day Parcel (This can be changed during checkout)', but the guy told me there is only the DPD shipping, no other. I was thinking maybe there's a cheaper shipping option for waiting a few days instead of next day delivery.

Build it yourself & then Truely know your system.
It is easier than Lego Technics after all. :p

You could do a like DIY post on here as you go for advice?

Sure people wouldnt even mind providing assistance via MSN, as building is fairly straight forward...

I'd say build it yourself... else I'll build it for you for peanuts £10/15! I enjoy building PC's.

I live in London as well, but you should definitely read up and give it a shot yourself, you build one, you can build them all.

malc30 and DireEmblem - Well, I've been pretty decent at installing and uninstalling my current components in my old case like gpu, drives and heatsinks, but I dunno, never installed a motherboard and cpu and don't feel very confident, I just kind of wanted it built to a higher standard than I could do.

Ross1234 - Yep, that's fair enough about delivery.

Souleh - I spoke to 2 shops the other day nearby. One wanted £70, the other says £20. So I guess I could go with the £20.

WalesOwl - that's what I was thinking, was hoping not to need a cooler. I'm not overclocking anyway, at least, I doubt it. Haven't got a clue how to do that and don't think I'll need to.

rexehuk - I'm in north london, I'll happily pay you to build this for me once I receive the package. I've got a tube I've been using of Akasa silver 450:

Do you rate this paste, do you know if it's in the same league as arctic silver?

I'm all thumbs but even i managed to build a computer. Seriously give it a shot - start a build thread on here and keep posting progress. People will then be able to help you more easily if you get stuck. I really enjoyed building my pc.

I personally used Artic Silver on my 4400+ rig a few years ago, thought it was good. This time around on my i7 I was lazy and used the noctua paste provided to me... there seems to be agreements and disagreements on whether the investment in artic silver is worth it etc. I imagine your Akasa paste would suffice for the AMD chip, the one thing I WOULD say to change is the stock cooler, one which someone could recommend here as I'm not too familiar with the best cooling devices for amd based processors.

I would build it for you for free, or talk you through the building process if you like although Chester is a long way to come lol.

Ok, we'll stick with the akasa paste for now. So the stock cooler is not going to keep my cpu very cool then? Can someone recommend a cooler? How about any of the ones mentioned here, this is a configurator for the same phenom 550
