My mrs and I adore our Ikea bed and sultan mattress - whenever we have been away on hols, in hotels, camping or whatever, we just adore getting back into our Ikead bed/mattress (went for firmest mattress option), it's heavenly. So so comfy, well chuffed with it.
Congrats on the imminent arrival too!

without a receipt things get a little more tricker. How long have you had it? Every ikea item has a date stamp on it of when it was brought to store so you can't lie. If it's years they probs won't do anything if it is a few months they might be able to trace your receipt and then swap it or might feel generous and swap it anyway.
At Ikea if you ask to speak to duty manager/store manager and start saying your going to tell everyone about the awful service etc. etc. 99% you will get your way.
