Damp Internal Wall

Btw the gutters are ok and clean

There is no green signs on the wall


Water does not appear to fall but i will watch the rain and gutters when I can

There are only a few ways this can happen and is usually due to junk in the cavity bridging outer to inner. From the brick pattern shown in the pictures, it's not a cavity wall. It's headers and stretchers - a cavity wall would be all stretchers.

The paint could/would have been holding moisture into the wall and it's only route of escape was into the house and hence the damp. It takes an age for it to dry out properly and, as above, the weather we've had recently is extremely wet so it's not really a surprise. Give it time, heat the property properly and see how it goes...

I should have said cavity wall insulation, which can cause more problems than enough. My bad.

This is the first clue that the OP made the mistake of having the insulation done to the walls.

I think he meant injected DPC...which obviously is not a cure to anything other than emptying your wallet...
 
but the injections helped 95% of the walls - it is just this one area that is suffering.

I walked to see the other same houses on my road and I noticed that a number of them have:

- Non painted bricks
- Higher and thinner concrete plinth along the walls


so I reckon this has been a problem for previous owners for sure.
 
ok so check this report from 2014:

The damp proof course is obscured by a mortar plinth to all elevations. To the front
elevation the site is partly above the plinth, to the rear elevation there is a raised
step, also bridging the damp proof course. This is posing internal dampness
issues, it is important that the site is lowered to the required level.
It is important that the plinth is maintained in good condition to prevent damp
penetration by capillary action, early repairs will be required.

The dampness is largely penetrating due to the
bridging of the damp proof course, to the left due to deterioration of the plinth. As
stated the site must be lowered to the required level and the plinth repaired.
Internal replastering will then be required.

- that was from a qualified professional in 2014 but how the hell do I fix this according to those instructions?

Because what's under it is

And its drawing moisture through

So they slapped the black stuff on
To try to stop it
Or to hide it for selling the property
May be a case of having to hack it off
To below the dpc
Though not easy to tell
From the photos as the blacks
Obscuring what's there
Possibly intentionally if was like
That when you bought it

It's in my signature though if on a
Mobile device you may
Not see it
It's a form of Dyslexia I can't
Parse text properly especially blocks
Of text
I have to read and Reread everything
Even then I sometimes miss
Stuff
I don't even notice I am typing like this
It's subconscious I guess
Just had 2 of the guys do hilarious rap
