Dan x Lian Li A3 mATX case

anyone have any idea on the pre order ETA?

ordered my wood panel on the 5th and have a pile of components waiting for the last piece of the jigsaw puzzle lol
I sent an email asking on the 10th October for an ETA and they responded saying that they're expecting stock within 2 weeks of that date and aim to ship pre orders within 3 working days

Can't (but also can) believe how quickly the wood version sold out again. By the time I'd clicked the stock alert email they'd all gone! Lain Li definitely onto a winner, maybe the only case to have a nice use of wood since the North.

Didn't actually know there was a wooden-fronted version of this case until I popped my head back into the thread. The plastic front panel was one of the few things I didn't like about the original version of the case, in that I thought it looked a bit cheap when it was being handled. Probably less of an issue when the case is all put together and you're just looking at it in the corner.

Wooden version could maybe be a contender for my next case. If it becomes available anytime soon.

Recently built a new system in this with a 360 AIO, 9800X3D, 4080 Super and for £69 quid I am left impressed with the quality overall regardless of the front panel, I personally think it's fine however... maybe make the front wood panel available to buy separately. like the glass side panel?

I've seen a few people asking for it to be made available seperately, which doesn't seem unreasonable. Also noticed on the website that the wooden version is open at the front, which is a nice bonus over the plastic fronted model.

I'd buy the wood option if it was available, wonder if I could contact Lian Li and request it as a spare/replacement part? Apparently, it was released in the states... newegg?

Yeah you're right, it's available on there. Wouldn't do any harm to contact Lian Li to let them know that it would be of interest to people this side of the water as well. Not sure where the buck stops between Dan and Lian Li for the replacement parts though.

anyone who has one of these how are you setting up your fans and airflow ? ive seen people mention having the rear fan as an intake and switching the fan around on the cpu ?
