Received mine (small one) today!

(On top of that, I found a half price camera bag for my new D40, found the last place selling it had raised its price to £100 more than I paid for it new, and took some pretty decent football action shots with it. Ah, how little things can make a day!)

BUT, anyone know where I can find the equivalent instruction/notes in English please? I don't know how to get a battery in, or how to generally know its movement limitations. Also, anyone know what the small clear box is for?

Edit: In my kiddy excitement, I let it fall 2 feet from my shelf onto my desk and it lived!

The small clear box is for extra joints if you buy them. It comes with the battery already installed. Just pull its head off and pull out a tiny bit of plastic which is stopping the battery contacts. Movement limitations wise basically the arms, leg & head move as far as you can push them, its pretty robust.
 
i kept on thinkin itd break but its a machine and a half lol just been takin some photos :) of him... i think ill call him jez haha
 
ok so looked on ebay, there's the version 2 of the mini on there for £20 or so delivered(is version 1 worth double? seen £50 odd).

only find the amazon version not the unbranded apart from the £50 odd large version, is the unbranded worth the extra(~£20)?

is the seller wonderonlinestore a trusted seller? he/she seems to be the cheapest
 
^^ I really wanted a large 'unbranded' one & a small 'branded' one, a few of us have bought from wonderonlinestore so no worry's there fowler002 ;)

The large one i found from a different seller, he had one on sale which i bought, but then managed i to get a second one (from same guy) which i sold in this thread, for some reason he has not got back to me regarding purchasing more unbranded Danbo's.

His last response:

Whoop! mini Danbo jsut arrived on my desk!

VERY quick from Japan! Definitely recommend that seller mentioned above if you're after one! Think my mini-branded was £23!
 
Glad to hear tsinc, at the rate people are buying Danbo's we should have some sort of Danbo related picture competition.

I know greywolf and others have taken some great shots of there's, greywolfs pictures being my main reason for wanting one (though i bought 2 :D), so maybe pick a theme month on month like the main photo competition, then we judge each others in a voting thread?

Just a thought....
