I think your entitled to a replacement and if they throw anything extra then take that as a bonus

I'll ask for a refund. I might ask them if I can pay the extra to get the 120cm strips instead

I would take a pic of the burns and show them in the hope they give it to me for free, but the painful scorch mark doesn't really show up on my dark brown skin :mad:

The annoying thing is that the same one, in blue is half the price :mad:

i jusat looked inside a big box i have on top of the wardrobe and found a brand new one in it.. very posh

600 LEDs seems like massive overkill. Are they tiny surface mount ones? The strip I made gives off quite a bit of light, it's using 6x 5mm LEDs.

For £120 I'd suggest you start looking in to the RGB LED strips that you can control with USB contoler boards, I think you can get meters of them with the USB controller for less than £120.

Yeah, 600 is overkill. If I had the justification I would get it but I can't think Of a good reason.

The LEDs have to be uv as my sleeving and fluid is uv reactive and looks epic under uv light

I'll most likely get two 120cm strips and it will cost £75 which I think is worth it for epic UV ness.

Cathodes really are pathetic!

Hopefully it's unrelated, but my graphics card suddenly went to alight blue screen (not BSOD) and I had to cut the power to turn computer off. Hopefully, if anythings broken, its my graphics card!

For some reason I was thinking of cathodes, no idea where I picked that idea up from! So feel free to ignore that little snippet
