Dangerous U-Turns/3 point turns

I really don't know what it is over the last few years, maybe the influx of immigrants in my area from Europe and the middle east but in the last 2 weeks I have seen 3-4 VERY nearly bad accidents because of idiots just doing random u-turns/3 point turns in the middle of the road, any road!

I went with a friend to a part of Birmingham a little while ago and it was rampant. People would just drive down the opposite side of the road as you then just turn in front of you and 3 point turn. No signals, nothing. Then more recently I have seen it around the city where I live. For instance a couple of days ago I was going to a shop near my mums and on the way out I spotted a black merc with several shady eastern European looking blokes in it just do a 3 point turn right round a corner that had cars parked on 1 side. A lorry came round the corner and almost smashed it to pieces, I really do not know how he managed to stop.

So what is it? Just dangerous driving, European morons? I am hoping the Police will get their act together and get something sorted about it but I am sure they will have better things to do... Like catching some old dear doing 33 in a 30 zone.. :rolleyes:
 
LOL.. Apologies if it seems to be a bit anti European but honestly the only people I see doing it are Eastern Europeans (With polish, Croation, Latvian etc plates) Asian people (Indian/Pakistani/Middle Eastern) or flipping taxi drivers. So what am I supposed to say?
 
I feel your pain, when the immigrants are white it's much harder, you can't just go with a traditional 'darkies' or the like.
 
The best one I saw, abeit about 20 years ago, was someone doing a u-turn on a roundabout. I nearly wet myself laughing.

She appeared to be white British but I reckon we should have sent her back anyway. Oh wait...
 
In all likelihood the average standard of driving for people originally from Eastern Europe, Asia etc. is lower than that of the natives.

Yeah, I am an idiot, grow up with your childish name calling. I am in no way suggesting that there are not moronic drivers from all walks of life, ages, religions, ethnic backgrounds etc. I had just stated that I have only ever seen this particularly idiotic manoeuvre being done by these people otherwise I would have not made that observation.
 
I don't know why it's racist to point out people from countries with lower driving standards bring their bad habits/attitudes with them. I hate everyone from the cocky 18 old white boy in his Corsa to the Romanian woman driving towards me on a one-way street so I am quite impartial in my hatred towards people. Eastern Europeans typically drive more aggressively from what I have noticed.
 
I completely agree, a few months ago I was driving down a road with a blind right turn. Knowing how bad it is and seeing lights coming the other way I slowed down and it's a good job I did as a woman in a 4x4 with Romanian number plates came round the corner on the wrong side of the road. Not a little but but completely driving on the wrong side of the road. I flashed my lights and blasted my horn but she just looked at me like crap! And drove off still on the wrong side of the road. I called the police but their answer was that she would probably be long gone by time they get out there to see if they can find her. Wether they did or not I dunno.

No point in calling the police. They don't do anything if a European car is involved. Sometimes I think I may be better off buying a car from Romania, Latvia, Poland etc and drive it over here with no insurance, road tax etc

Statistically it is...

Although results were somewhat skewed when I viewed them due to the 'crash for cash' scams that were going one which involved a lot of Pakistani males.

Driving standards in this country have plummeted over the last 10 years

It not just one single group. I blame the rise of the gatso and by so the loss of traffic patrols from our motorways and streets.

What we need is more on the road police units and much stiffer penalties for bad driving not just speeding which seems to be the only thing that gets any attention

Let the police retain fines to fund enforcement
 
I agree, I would also like to see red light cameras on every set of lights, a lot of people consider a red light not as stop but quickly scoot through as there is a built in buffer. Idiots!
