Ghost UI is my favourite. This one has the old icons as well. You don't have to spend ages customising it either :p

Ghosts good too, can set BOB up to use all the same stuff as ghost, but yeah it can be option overload when you see how many options there are in bob.

(and I like the new icons !! :D )
 
hmm i need to read up , my lvl 24 hunter does poo damage now, maybe its the classic stuff ive got, any one got a clue where to get good gear at 24 for thidranki ?

Housing. Get RoGs or find a friendly crafted to SC you some stuff :) You can quite easily cap out in Thidranki (excluding ToA bonuses) through RoGs and a crafted set, would cost quite a bit more for ToA template though with LW's.
 
Yes, Labirynth is the last expansion.

Hunters are one of the strongest, if not the strongest of the archer classes, oddly though due to their immense positional melee damage.

Mxn is also a good UI, i'll post a ss later.

The fact PvE is separate on ywain is good really, as there's more chance of finding that mob you need. RvR is all in and there are some crazy keep sieges.
 
And also, for those interested the Classic server characters are being transferred too. So if you built up a high RR toon on the classic you're in luck :)
 
Is there a way to lock the interface or save it once you've got it the way you want it with Bob's UI? Doesn't seem to carry between characters either. I've spent AGES getting it just right, now I'm afraid to move :)

A /quit and relogging back in usually saves it for me. However unless you can copy and paste the config file in explorer I think you have to individually set each char up.

Mine just locks on the character when I log out, when I log back in its all set how I like it. To carry it across characters I just copy the character UI files and rename them to the correct character name.

One mo, I will dig up the location and names of the 2 files that I rename to copy the UI across characters.

EDIT : Its (and this is on vista) users > name > appdata > roaming > Electronic arts > dark age of camelot > lotm >

And the 2 files that I rename are the 2 character files with the 2 numbers in , not sure if they are the same numbers for everyone, but my two are 41 and 225 (one of the files is an ign file). I just make a copy of those, then rename the copies with the name of the character and it copies all my UI settings over

Where are people playing? I have multiple noobs across various realms. Be nice to at least know someone whos dieing alongside me :o
 
I didn't bother trying to dig up my old details, just started the free trial on ywain. Grimbane or Grimbriar at the moment, although DaoC is the single worst game in the universe for Alt-itis, so there will be many more :D
 
I've gone back to daoc so many times now, but I dont think that it will ever match up to their SI days. It's a shame that they cancelled daoc: origins imo.
