Episode 5 feels like it was a bonus episode. They probably recorded it for the original 18-episode run & decided to keep it for the connection to the broader MCU.

Episode 6 was pretty great though.

Marvel really bringing it back for me with this one. Was refreshing to see a tv show that felt grounded like this one.

So far the tone and pace of the series very similar to the original Netflix show. The fight choreography is pretty decent too. There is that sprinkle of MCU comic effects to it but at least it's subtle.

Why are DareDevils fighting skills so crap against certain enemies that shouldn't be able to even touch him?

Yeah that was one of my minor gripes as well. When suited up he in beast mode .

Quite interesting Steven DeKnight revealed that it was always his intention for Daredevil to move the way he does now in the original Netflix show if they had the budget.

Yeah, hated the way he moved in She Hulk (And I mean in the show, not how he got jiggy with it) I know its more comicbook accurate but was less realistic, as far as a blind dude having sonar and ninja skills..

Episode 8 was really enjoyable, very much looking forward to the finale now and recommend the series for those who haven't started yet.

LOL So anyone that was worried that Disney was going to tone it down Daredevil (Myself Included) were ultimately proven wrong with the new episode. One particular moment made me go "Jesusssss" out loud..

Fisk killing the police commissioner was pretty shocking, brutal and gory. Oh and Punisher is as badass as always.

The ending certainly felt like a season split. Slightly anti-climactic in some respects.

AFAIK, yes.

I didn't know it was there, a button came up to skip the credits, which I did and it skipped to playing the post credits scene.

While I enjoyed the last two episodes there was a lot of mid season stuff that dragged and felt totally unnecessary, the entire bank episode was chore to watch and poorly executed in my opinion.

I will say that the show made me really hope for a new season or two of Punisher, for as little as he was in it he was one of the highlights for me.

Yeah that was brutal, lead to me going straight to IMDB to see what rating it was!
