dark age of camelot 2

thanks for your help talon now i have something you may be intrested in i bought neverwinter nights the other day the new one and i have a friend code for a beta weekend would you like it ? :)

Thanks for the offer but I've never been that fussed about Neverwinter so you would prolly be better finding a more deserving home.

As for realm, I haven't started up yet. I can neither decide on a realm r class to try again....

imo dark age of camelot was the best mmorpg iv played to this day i really enjoyed it i truely hope it is DAOC 2 we will soon find out when the 750 hits on facebook what it is if its daoc 2 im going to be pumped :)

Have to agree. Loved the game. I miss this and SWG. Hope DAOC 2 is something we will see in the future.

I love it how Mark Jacobs has specifically said, 'This isn't DAOC2' and the community are like 'OMG DAOC2!!!', me included!

Oh eck, this could be bad for me if it works out, lost far too much time to DAOC. Reading what they've put on the site so far it sounds interesting with its being mostly open world RvR and having crafting being the predominant way of gearing up. If they could get an Eve online style economy going, with realms battling to control various resources the game could get very interesting.

I'd be interested in this except for it's monthly sub, I'm not convinced the game will be capable of holding down a decent player base with one in this day and age, look at the secret world.

Mark did say in one of the updates that he'll talk in much more detail about the subscription model soon. What he did say was why does it have to be a $16 sub, a lower sub could also work.

Clearly getting the hype up before kickstarter or something similar. The issue around the DAOC name, lore etc may not be as big as people think. It's easy enough to license it and who knows if he sold it initially? Has he actually confirmed this at any point?

I don't hold out much hope though, too many games with great potential have been ruined by poor development and management - the original DAOC being a clear example.

Tabula Rasa anyone? should have been great.. but was fairly pants.

Daoc was by far the best online rpg I ever played. I played it hard core for like 7 years and played it at the highest level getting around 20m+ realm points.

I would love to see Daoc 2 my only fear is it wouldn't even come close to the ordinal.
