So how are people finding this so far?

I'm just at the bat boss Tiamat, so far really enjoying the game, hack n slash with some puzzle elements, very fun.

However I would have like to see a leveling system or loot system of some kind added in, and so far dissapointed with the lack of "shops" available (that spirit dude that you need to actually uncover before you can buy stuff)

apart from that, the game is quite hard which I enjoy, I'm struggling on Tiamat as I havent got aiming with R3 perfected yet, still mixing up my axis lol

but it seems looking at all the stuff still available in the inventory (upgrades, legendary, artifacts) that im not very far through the game although my playtime is up to 5 hours already.

So what do other people think? I'm hoping once i complete the game it unlocks more features for some replay value as I would play it again.

I'm kinda enjoying it.
I find some of the regular badguys take far too long to kill. There's armoured ones for instance. It can take a couple of minutes of constant hammering to kill them.
I also don't get the special moves(that spike thing).I have 2 bars, use it once and both go.Then it takes ages to recharge:confused:
The aiming thing does my head in a bit,it's far too complicated.

What's this like? I've heard it likened to Zelda, but is it merely dungeon after dungeon, or do you get the sense of community and interaction that you get with the Zelda games as well?

i only have one wrath move and its the spike thing and i keep forgetting about it lol, a bit underpowered if you ask me

i dont find the armored guys too hard to kill they usually have a circle above their head after one combo and launching them into an air combo

I'm really enjoying this now.Just killed greaver and the game is getting better.I think it's just til after you kill the first boss that it starts picking up.

I am really enjoying it. But it certainly isn't an easy game! Took me quite a few tries before I managed to work out the strategy for Tiamat!

I found tiamat hard but found the last 2 chosen pretty easy, I think I am right near the end now, played for around 9 hours

really enjoying the game more and more, just met the scottish hammer dude.

although I am a little concerned that i've missed a lot of items because when you really start to explore you find secret bosses and items such as shards and artifacts :(

Some of the items in earlier areas you cannot get until later as you don't have the abilities yet. However you can go back to them at a later point so I wouldn't worry about it.

Well i've just defeated the 4th chosen.
Really enjoying the game.Although it does annoy me a lot!
Like the fact that the game seems to decide what ledges you can or can't grab.I've died loads when i've jumped across a gap thinking I could grab a ledge but for some reason the game doesn't want me to.Yet i'll grab a different ledge looking EXACTLY THE SAME!
Need some help as well - on drowned pass on top of the buildings there is a yellow bit that I should be able to grab with the hook, yet for some reason I can't.Even when i'm stood right under it.How do you grab it? This is yet another example of the game not letting me something in one place that I can do somewhere else:mad:

You can't go up there yet until you get the mask of shadows.

Enjoying it, taking a break for it at the moment as my controller seems to be going a bit dodgy, sometimes when I try to jump it just doesn't which in this game is frustrating.

It's good though, it's Zelda without the childish pointlessness.

What part of Zelda?

The awesome overworld/sidequests, the dungeons, collecting news items over time that change the way you navigate/fight, the living/breathing world, it's charm, fighting style?

Well i'm pretty much at Tiamat now (whats the best strat for killing her btw?) and so far i find it's been ok. As someone else said if it was more of an Action RPG it would add much more to the experience!

I get that as well. You just seem to fall of the edge sometimes even when you've pressed jump.I think it's because we're used to games where you character will grab the edge when they've slipped off rather than just falling.

I got this game and thought it was pretty good. It felt kind of too long for it's own good to me though. It takes about 12 hours to complete apparently if you've played a lot of zelda games because the puzzles are very similar to that. I got to about 10 hours played and was in the Black Throne when I gave up. Everything just felt the same and you just ended up killing the same enemies over and over and over and over. In the end I just looked at a guide and realised that theres a fair bit of backtracking later on, too, and just traded it in while I'd still get a fair amount for it.
The storyline is terrible until the last few hours of play too, imo.

If that's the case i might have to just send this back then, im about 4hrs into it and about to fight Tiamat and im already finding it a little bit of a chore! Well it's lucky i didnt play Bayonetta first otherwise this wouldn't even have been opened most likely. Glad i've only rented it :)
