Darksiders

I like games where you have to explore.I'd say this game is more like soul reaver than zelda.
I've just got the abyssal armour and a weapon attachment called War's glory which increases weapon damage, weapon experience gained, the rate you gain chaos and the rate you stay in chaos form:D

best attachment by far makes the other attachment seem pointless

I'm seeing what all the reviews were saying about stealing things from other games, but tbh, they are all great things so all is well, 1 of the most obvious is those ceiling demons, that grab you if you walk under, Half Life 2 written all over it lol.

Anyways, I'm 8 hours and 30 mins through, playing on the hardest setting (Armageddon?) and just made my way across the sand dunes with those huge snake things, where you have to slow time down to move from platform to platform? Just done all that. Loving it :D

I've now finished the game. And thoroughly enjoyed it.
Won't be going through it a second time to collect stuff as I can't be bothered. But it was a fun 15+ hours of gameplay.

same here I enjoyed but was bother to play it the 2nd time got most of the trophies though and glad that I rented it instead of buying it :D

What part of Zelda?

The awesome overworld/sidequests, the dungeons, collecting news items over time that change the way you navigate/fight, the living/breathing world, it's charm, fighting style?

Wouldn't be a fair comparison really as I don't particularly enjoy Zelda games any more, mainly because of the "childish pointlessness" I mentioned.

By that I mean the ever present starting area with over optimistic children and idyllic village somewhere which OH NO! gets invaded or some such, spending 30 minutes learning to swing a stick around by pressing B, then B, then holding B, Darksiders conversely has you learn to fight by cutting up Angels and Demons, even if B is still the button of choice.

However, Zelda does win on the Dungeons, something the Zelda devs really do have to a T.

Finished this after pulling an all nighter last night, paying for it in work today though :( I really enjoyed it, great storyline and the gameplay is good. I'd love to talk about some things in the story especially the ending but I'll wait another while don't want to spoil it for anybody.

Over 12 hours game play time, at the tower (just about to go back over the first bridge...). How much have I got left? lol, playing it on Armageddon setting as well = hard!

Was hoping to have it completed by tomorrow morning so I can trade it in with MW2 for bioshock 2....

picked this up for £25 from the supermarket, really enjoying it so far, currently trying to kill Tiamat (which seens really tough for a first boss). Anyway hope the game continuse to be as good, not sure why it got so many average to low scores.

I saw it for £25 but can't justify it when I've got other games to play like Uncharted 2. Brother has it, so I'll have to borrow it at some point. He's a big Zelda fan, but has felt disappointed with Darksiders.

This is another title I need to get round to completing :(

Not that far from the end, I'm at the tower so last level, maybe another hour or 2 from the final boss, so will polish this off tomorrow with a hangover lol
