Hmm, its a tough one, if I'm just looking for highly skilled humans with no powers so to speak then I'd go with

Solid Snake
and Hitman 47
Doubt a zombie would get within 100 yards without getting its head blown off!
However, if I could take absolutely aaaaanybody...
Kratos - for reasons previously mentioned, rips body parts off of gods, zombies are not going to be a problem.
Revan (KOTR) - Jedi of doom, brought the warlike Mandalorians to their knees, lightsabre > zombies.
Dante (Devil May Cry) - Spent half of his life fighting off the minions of hell, for all intents and purposes is immortal - zombies soon to be extinct!

We team up before the apocalypse has spread too far. The 'hawt chix' can probably take care of themselves, in any case.

Liliana (from Dragon Age, oh yes, french, all 3 going to be available)

I feel a bit like a copycat so I'll add their weapons (and my own ) but here we go:

Frank West - Dual Mini Chainsaws + Frying Pan!
Gordon Freeman - mavity Gun + Crowbar

I'll take the Portal Gun. Narrow alley/corridor with one entry point only. I'll sit at the end enjoying myself while they walk into my portal. I've not decided where the exit portal will be yet however....

Actually, Shale would be an awesome asset to the team. There's no way a zombie could bite him and infect him with their zombie aids.
