I would argue that most people would find a sexual experience from a whore quite.....unsatisfying. Sure it might fufil the most basic urges, but it's nothing apart from that. You're giving your body (it works both ways) to someone who cares nothing apart from the money you're giving her.

Hardly satisfying, and not a lot of fun from the sounds of it. Even picking up some skank in a bar I would imagine to be more amusing.
 
You've not mentioned if any of the girls offered to split or pay for the bill? To be honest in today's world I'd at least expect a girl to offer to go halves, whether or not you accept then is up to you. On the 1st date I'd probably pay the whole lot even if she offered, 2nd date 50/50 seems fair.

Sorry, I actually meant he had the option of pubs/clubs and so on as well :P the pro is a last option for the truely desparate and not to be done lightly.

There are enough women in pubs for casual things, the real women worth long term dating and wooing generally dont go out alone, nor do they pull in pubs.

Match.com and the other paid for sites are the best place to start looking if you dont have wide social circles and meet a lot of women in daily life. the hardest part of it i find is actually letting a woman know you are single and looking without LOOKING like you are single and looking, if you get what i mean.

I remember hearing a story about some guy who took his date to McDs and only got her a big mac, then got upset when she asked for a drink....they had been married for a few years last time I heard... :)

Yeah its interesting! Certainly haven't found my swing yet and definitely not in a position for another relationship I don't think! The first two girls were ones I briefly knew years ago so thought they'd be worth a literally bash. The third was a random and wasn't really that fussed or could be bothered really! Gunna start hitting gym again next week and getting back on Microsoft exams etc. Biggest adjustment is living back with the mother!!! Bye bye independance haha!

I'd fully expect to pay half from date one really. If things go well after a few dates I might suggest that I'd pay this time and they could pay next time to save to faff of splitting the cost.

I have, however, learnt from this thread that if I do decide to go on a dating site that it had better be a paid one or else it means I'm not really taking it seriously ;) Though to be fair, thinking about it, I guess it should hopefully mean the same applies to the guys too. Hopefully there are more genuine guys on the paid sites too!
