Sounds indicitve of all politicians tbh. All very good with their sound bites and jingoism. Can anyone remember the last time any Politician said anything that either inspired you or made you stand up and listen ?

Very true indeed. Although some people may have put some connotation on the famous Rivers of Blood speech really stands out. The only other politician I can think of is Robin Cook and even then it was more to do with his personal difference over the Iraq War rather than real meaningful politics
