you dont monitor your kids internet use? how do you know they arent in chatrooms talking to men looking to abuse kids? maybe the goverment should just ban the internet because it is to dangerous when kids can access it without being properly monitored by their parents..
I remember when I was a kid and we always used to find porno mags on the street... maybe they should ban the internet porno so kids can enjoy the joys of finding sexual materials adults have masterbated on and tossed out.

It's not name calling. It's how dull you must be to have to ask what would be disgusting about kids viewing porn!

But, as said before, lots of parents don't give a monkeys what they kids do. It's the kids that need protecting.

I asked a question asking about YOUR OPINION as to what YOU found particularly disgusting about children watching porn. Firstly, we are yet to define what a child is. Secondly, there are many, many aspects of porn, I was interested into which one you raised the most objection to.
By definition a child is:
This could mean, let's say a 12 year old. This, IIRC is the age you go to secondary school and when children may start gettin curious about sex and things like that. Would it really be that bad if these guys watched porn? They may have many of their questions answered...

That is a good point. Sigma for PM! Everyone else who didn't think of this is a bad person who needs to think of the children.
EDIT: I have come to the conclusion that chicken should also be added to this ban as it can be dangerous to eat it raw, as a child might.

When I first signed up for a mobile phone contract with Orange I was blocked from accessing the OCUK forums because it was supposedly 'adult content' and so I had to call them and get the bar removed. I can foresee similar things happening if this were put in place. I completely do not trust other people to decide on what I can or cannot view.

Also, no internet censorship at all. Ever. Deal with copyright, porn and anything some other way, just don't put in place a mechanism to allow the state to take down sites. As Hunders says, you could consider OCUK adult material or whatever.

I approve of this. We will raise a generation of real MEN. They will grow up eating only MANfood as this is one of the few things that can't kill them so easily.

There are some idiots on their soap boxes who doesn't understand technology or the Internet who support this view but on the whole it's not really about that. Some people won't be happy until the Internet is regulated like TV and thats means we're talking about a whitelist.
