DAY 25: CHRISTMAS DAY DEAL, LAUNCHING EARLY!

I spent all day at home waiting for my 5850 and few other pieces and nothing.Finally we called DPD and they said they'd deliver my order between 17:00 and 18:00 and they didn't.And they shamelessly put ''there was no one present to sign'' message to their parcel tracking page.It wasn't a free delivery either.
I am a new OCuk customer and my first expression of this shop was very positive.I don't want to spoil it with just one bad experience but I also don't want to waste my days for 2 mins. delivery.Can anyone tell me if this failure is exception or the rule here ?

Yep definitely price increases added here and there ;) If you drop the price of the keyboard back to its original, I will buy tonight with a new samsung monitor and Pad. Your choice ?

Also the free delivery option doesn't show after I typed the code in ?

Seriously we are part of the uk and i cant stress enough how cheesed off i am getting about this, £8 for an SSD at £150? The local post office would send that recorded for £4, have done many times with RMA's to you.


Can you clearly state that this offer is either open to the UK or just parts of the UK you choose aka england and wales.If i lived in dundee scotland i bet i could get free shipping and thats just as far away as belfast, infact its further!I dont even want 2,3,4,5 day delivery i want it cheap even if it takes 14 days i dont care a si am slowly amassing parts for my new sandy bridge pc.

Well complain as you must. Shipping has not changed. Yes we are offering free UK shipping but it ultimately boils to what our courier deams as "UK" now I'm not starting a debate about this so deal with it as you wish. Regardless of shipping you have a 5% discount so stop moaning!

Afaik, the OCUk guys have said that their prices do fluctuate a lot. And their have been some cracking Today Only deals since they introduced it this year. Perfer this situation with a little fluctuation in prices but cracking CS and delivery, than most of the other companys behaviour.:p

Is this cracking customer service?

Well complain as you must. Shipping has not changed. Yes we are offering free UK shipping but it ultimately boils to what our courier deams as "UK" now I'm not starting a debate about this so deal with it as you wish. Regardless of shipping you have a 5% discount so stop moaning!

We offer 5% of the entire product catalogue with free shipping for all UK mainland residents.

What do we get wingers.

So across our entire range of what 3000 products, a handful have changed price since yesterday, well get a grip prices change everyday if not hourly.

A graphics card has changed price, damn right that card has gone up were are new stock which arrived this week at a dollar rate of 1.53, we held our lower price whilst we had cheaper 1.58 dollar stock, that stock is now gone and were on more expensive stock, live with it.

Fact is today if I actually ran a report probably less than 50 products have changed in price out of a range of 2000+

The prices that changed today have changed irrelevent of any offer, they change because our cost moves around and if anyone here monitors exchange rates you will know full well over the last two weeks the dollar has fallen from nearly 1.60 down to 1.53, that makes things more expensive. This particular MSI card did change in price today because all the cheaper stock is now gone and were on the more expensive stock.

Its not a conspiracy, if that was the case we'd simply increase our entire product range in price.

This Week Only prices which are discounted are still the same, TODAY ONLY offers are still incredible value and this 5% discount applies to those as well.

That would make sense but lets be fair, the Razer Keyboard is a pre-order in which you've paid for the stock months back, also, if they did go up, why haven't the price of that keyboard increased in any other retailer in this country ?

You don't have to justify anything to me as i was only a prospective customer, it may have only have been a small order but glad i saw this side of you before i placed the order. many thanks btw you have had 10+ of the Talon Attack in for as long as i can remember sooo makes no sense

i was going to edit it but you deleted it sigh some way to treat customers, all we did was whine as we are being left out of free delivery and everytime because of this WE can find 90% of stocked items cheaper else where by using google search.

sigh i even done the maths in calculator and stuff and you wiped it i really cbfa tbh gibbo, i know it was you(If not sorry!) as it was fine until you came.was it wiped due to me using that word that rhymed with the competition? well fine its gone lets re start shall we.

£13 for delivery on a PSU which makes it £162.Google ax850w and a popular uk online site has stock for £152.99 delivered! This will be the last *whine* as long as you keep the post, as i said i cba anymore ill go elsewhere as i dont appreciated making an effort to get the same terms as the rest of the UK only to find my post deleted by someone who could do with a course in customer support.It took effort and if you want to refer to a post thats blatantly screaming consumer loyalty as a whine post then thats just bad business practice.

Keyboards are not under my remit, no idea as to why they would change in price.

My point is so a graphics card, a keyboard upto now have changed in price out of a range of 2000+ products, so all cry conspiracy because of a 5% discount.

There is no conspiracy, prices change on the hour in this industry.

People threatening to go to trading standards because a few prices change out of a range of a few thousand because a 5% discount is offered later, am sorry but trading standards would laugh.

Fact is were offering a 5% discount, that means any buying customer gets 5% discount on ANYTHING they order out of our huge range of products. Yet people assume because a product they wanted has changed in price it must be a conspiracy and as such its all a con.

Free shipping is for UK mainland only, has always been the case, Northern Ireland is not UK mainland and as such our couriers charge more for that service as such its not free.

The only post I have edited/deleted is mention of competitors, thats against the forum rules, which you have again broken, but I have no reason to edit shipping post I'd just rather explain as I have done, but if your gonna insist on breaking forum rules with competitor talk then yes your post will be removed. Stay within the rules please. :)

Of course we have had 10+ in stock always, I re-order stock before we actually run out. To run out means lost sales.

So if I buy 500, when that stock runs down to say 100, I will buy a load more and fresh stock will come in when there is still 50 or so old stock left, then once were onto that fresh stock our price will either go up or down depending on the new cost. But to you the customer you will always see 10+.

Stock only goes sub 10 if we hold much smaller amounts of that item or are struggling to get more stock.
