Had a fantastic game earlier pure by chance. It felt very gritty and competitive and really kicked off. Awesome and at least now i know whats possible from this game.
Just wandered onto a server where the yanks were pinned down, our team kept throwing themselves at the encamped Axis and finally broke through. I got my revenge in a room packed with 4 Germans which i ran through with Tommy screaming and managed to punch the last one in the back of the head as he typed.
He took it well as i said sry but just couldn't resist my first Punch kill.
The Garand and the german rifle are my fave weapons so far but the MP40 and Tommy do there job well also.
It seemed very balanced between the rifle guys and sprayers both getting oppurtunities to fill there boots.
If i can get more of this then i will be buying it Monday.
 
Right so the weekend is pretty much over, what do you guys think? buy or not to buy?

Personaly once I got into it it was quite fun, but a few things here and there with the gameplay lost it for me.

That and the small amount of maps and lack of weapon choice (from what im used to).

So I dont think I will buy it, not unless Ive got money to spare and nothing much else to buy.
 
I have mixed feelings about the game, I am tempted to get it. Can't say i was overly impressed, the maps seem small and eventhough there were loads of different passages to various places it still felt i had very little choice in which direction i went. I did get pwned for the first few rounds by all the snipers, but eventually my DM skills kicked in and i started to enjoy myself.

just to reiterate, I play at TFS whenever i play DoD:S - great server good guys and enough admins to stop idiots ruining the game

look out for me as bananaman :D
 
i bought it via steam for about £13inc taxes and the conversion from $20.
its £15 retail now but you get it with sounterstrike source for £20 so take your pick) might get hl2 deathmatch too, i cant remember), the counterstrike package might be best value for money but that depends if youve got it already

I'm pretty sure it's ok as I've seen a don link to Gameplay before.

BTW whats the IP to your server ?
