GPUGRID is harder on hardware than folding, I've had to back off my titan back to stock to stop compute errors, the 660Ti's seem to handle it better though, they are still at 1215 and 1250 :)

Oooh, there is some stomping going on, 20 spots already today :D

I might have to stop to build my rig into it's new case, waiting for paint to dry first...

Nice to have some company in there. Not much activity in the team but it's very lucrative with decent GPUs :)

If you look on the first page of the volunteers section, you'll see my name twice. I'm 10th overall in the project for RAC and my SR-2 is 6th in the hosts section.

I see you are all leaving folding in favour for boinc, I tried adding a 6950 to run milkyway but keep getting computation error when a units finished so I give up. **** poor 15k ppd from folding isn't worth using it for that either

Up to 400k now with my rig back up again after it's refit into a shiny new case.
it has done something a bit odd though, it has run one long unit to 93%, paused for a bit and now it's started a fresh unit and the nearly complete one is still waiting:confused:

You definitely need the latest drivers for GPUGRID if you have a titan or a 700 card.
I got violation errors on my titan with the F@H friendly pre 331 drivers, but not the 660's. All good with the newest driver installed.

That didn't do us any favours. We may have retained our overall rank, somehow, but in the medical science projects we lost a shedload of places.

Bumping this thread now we have our forum back :)
Currently crunching Sztaki and making good progress there, one to watch out for is PSP, EVGA are hitting it pretty hard, big 333pt drop if we get stomped on there.

How do you get crunching with PSP? it seems to give me links to primegrid on boinc?:confused:

I'm currently crunching DPAD with 65% of my main rig, my media rig and a work laptop borg. I'm bashing a lot of folks on GPUGRID too:D

There's a setup guide here for PSP.

Important thing to add is if you do give it a go don't use the lastest PRP client, apparently the username and client ID fieids are mixed up somehow. I've been using version 5.0.8 still, no problems.

I'm not, I think most of us doing Boinc have been doing it at the same time as folding for years.

I'm not doing much Boinc hardware wise but I'm plugging away at it where I can. http://boincstats.com/en/stats/-1/user/detail/3709/projectList

Thanks for the confirmation :)

Wasn't sure if I had to instal BOINC first in order for it to work. It seems to be doing something but it has been 14 hours or so and I still can't do a manual send as I have less than 10 results to send :(

Whilst every little helps I don't think I'm going to be much help with a stomp !

If you get a high scoring result it will repeat it 5 times to confirm it's accurate (you do get higher points!) so it can take time. check the results file to see what scores you have already done.
In the results.txt file there will be a list like this
tantalumrodr=000;tantalumrodz=272;d1l=000;d2l=042;d3l=035;db1l=007;db2l=000;db3l=000;db4l=998;db5l=384;decaycells=000;ld1=000;ld2=797;ld3=000;ld4=996;ld5=000;linaccells=997;ls1f=997;ls1l=994;ls2f=998;ls2l=997;ls3f=029;ls3l=934;ls4f=997;ls4l=997;ls5f=000;ls5l=998;rf1p=995;rf1v=998;rf2p=000;rf2v=997;rf3p=742;rf3v=031;rf4p=159;rf4v=399;rf5p=796;rf5v=435;s1f=998;s1l=998;s2f=597;s2l=000;s2r=356;s3f=658;s3l=000;s3r=642;s4f=991;s4l=000;s4r=997;s5f=912;s5l=000;s5r=984;sb1f=001;sb1l=997;sb1r=000;sb2f=998;sb2l=000;sb2r=001;sb3f=356;sb3l=306;sb3r=000;sb4f=000;sb4l=120;sb4r=641;sb5f=847;sb5l=918;sb5r=504;#gen=3;
3.230727 (2333.3 Mpts) [v4.46] <Linac900Ext5Xc2> {6D2E543D56D05963221B7B25}
The blue bit is the main result and the red is the score.
